I suspect that (potentially) the best dual player is CJ McGourty - but we might never get to find out. Mickey Magill has been impressive in both codes but currently is a London player (as far as anyone can tell).

Paul McCormack for Armagh is a dual player. But I think he has gone to Hurling.

C.J. McGourty, Kevin McGourty, Ciaran McGourty, Carl Stewart, Gavin Bell, Mickey Magill, Micky and Brendy Herron, Magic Johnson, Chris Hamill, and a fair few from Derry as well, especially anyone called McGoldrick as the da played both codes for Antrim.

The best ever was Kevin Armstrong, and the two best I saw were the "terrible twins" wee Andy and Aidan Hamill. Over the years, Henry Downey was a wonderful hurler, Seamus was better at that game as well, a number of McGurks, Brian McGilliigan and Kieran McKeever, and Greg Blaney for Down.

What have medals got to do with anything?

Ogie Moran has 8 (EIGHT) all Ireland medals. Are you going to tell me that makes him a better footballer than Kevin Armstrong?

THE 8 MEDALS DONT MAKE HIM A BETTER FOOTBALLER THAN MC GOURTY, HE JUST IS A BETTER FOOTBALLER

Now Dhorse, you actually didn't read my post, and then reproduced it, without reading it.

Armstrong, Hall of Fame football and hurling, not McGourty.

And I liked Ogie. In the 8 finals he started at centre half forward they won. When they started him elsewhere, they lost.
