Was at Minor league div 2 final on friday night in Kilnaleck Castlerahan and Ramor .It was played on a waterlogged pitch with a inch of water lying on parts of the pitch .I think that the senior board have a lot to answer for by not allowing breffini park be made available for all these underage finals like they were supposed to .At the launch of Master fixture plan the chairman said all underage finals would be played in breffini.They only seem to be allowing camogie and hurling in breffini at minuite.All clubs should be kicking up about this fact.Back to the game ramor won by 6 after a entertaining game.Both defences were on top apart from a couple of exceptions.Colm Murphy at centre back was my man of the match he played with power and gave a masterclass in driving his team forward .Cian gargan was also very good and Enda farrelly .Chris Shiels scored the killer goal in second half .Jack brady had another good game especially when he came out to the 40 and midfield scoring 4 points.Young Flanagan and young smith for castlerahan are fine players.It was a low scoring game but both set of players done well to hold thier feet and serve up a good game

final score was 2-6 to 0-6.castlerahan really put it up to ramor and 2 stupid goals that could have been dealt with decided the game. the first came with a minute left in 1st half and ramor were leading by a point at this stage. the second came half way through the 2nd half after castlerahan had got it back to 1 point and this goal changed the game. yes murphy was probly the best players on show but brady was quieter then usual but this is because he was marked very well. on another day it could have gone anyway

yes, belturbet won by 2 pts. very poor game lots of wides. drumport were winning well but belturbet never gave up. not sure what his name is but belturbet captain sent off early on. Disgraceful refeereing might aswell not have turned up. bad decisions each way but very harsh on belturbet. gary tubman barely touched the ball got a roasting from trevor dunne for 2nd game in a row. dunne brennan and cahill rock solid in full back line. hard to pick out anyone for drumport but gearoid maguire and james rudden were decent enough. belturbet better team by far but repeated wides nearly cost them. rare wides from niall reilly although did grab the goal that got them back in it. poor playing surface aswell.

i was at te match nd felt drumport shud of won....ref let them down big time although fair play to belturbet for winning te match with 14 men..however drumport didnt make use of their spare man which reflects te management system tey have in place...their forwards wer weak against a very young belturbet defence..tey only luked dangerous wen jim kiernan went forward from midfield and he was for me drumports best player...him nd niall o reilly sort of cancelled each other in te middle of the field gud duel though kiernan luks a bit unfit...sean murphy i tink his name is was gud...james rudden always falling wen he has te ball nd he luked gud a few times but was wen kiernan was supporting him nd making space fr rudden..still it was a very poor match esp wen it was a fiver in...tink if drumport had ben kiernan tey wud of won handy...

I disagree, referee was poor but if he was much unfairer on belturbet. jim kiernan and rudden played well but when they got into a scoring zone and the defence closed them down the seemed lost and didnt know what to do. spare man was conor mc caffrey coming in and playing off the full forward line but the 3 in the full back line were absolutely superb and cancelled out the extra man. it wasnt really a game ben kiernan could of had any effect on, with backs as solid as that he wouldn't have contributed much. i'd be asking serious questions about the belturbet attack though there shooting was absolutely dreadful and they depend way too much on niall reilly to carry them. dunne excellent on kickouts and unlucky with a 45 dropped it just short, seemed to slip. very solid player. is he still u16?

sori killygarey boi u musnt of never seen ben kiernan play he is te best footballer for his age in the county he is the reason why tport have won dem underage titles in te last few years...in dem four finals dey won he has scored 7-17 nd he carried tport to te feile final tis year...look out for him i think ter playing belturbet in u-16 soon...he jus another underated player from west cavan jus like gearoid mc kiernan nd pp o hara nd jason mc loughlin...however it is a pitty to see ter senior teams go so bad tis year....

wer u at the belturbet drumport game?? because gary tubman was marked by john cahil, not trevor dunne?, firstly the last time they played gary tubman scored 1-9 on dunne and destroyed him, the other nite gary won evry ball on john cahil bt was unlucky with passes and shots and it was hiz first game bak from injury, u must of been at a different game kilagary-boi, the ref was awful for both teams but he cost drumport the game with his dicision in the last minute. also just to point out that marcus mcgerty belturbets number 5 was suspended for the game but played anyway, noting done about it because drumport arnt goin to b sore loosers, bt im sur if it was the other way round there wud b truble...

gary scored 1-9 but 9 frees and a goal that was 3 men in the air and basically its just wherever it goes. trevor roasted him and it was joint marking the other night if you didnt notice!! john beat him to every ball. and marcus wasnt suspended!! he got a red card 7 weeks ago and got a 4 week ban how would he be suspended?? just take the defeat!!!

yah..gary scored 1-9, won every free himself 2, did u notice that?.and he bet 3 belturebt men in the air to score the goal 2, not bad! and it was tough for him the other nite sayn he had 2men on him but he stil managed to win most balls and him injured also.
