Shamrocks beaten by 2 points.
What was the manager thinking about keeping the likes of big kieran Courtney and Connor Fegan on the bench.
This match was lost on the sidelines.

Loughinisland 2-11 Rostrevor 2-10

Great match last night between these two teams. Both just went at it from the start with some great scores. Big Dan made the difference in the end though. With the teams tied at 1-11 to 2-8, and 3 minutes remaining, he got on the end of a sideline ball to punch it to the net. Rostrevor came back though with two points, the second of which hit the crossbar before going over, before the ref called it a day.

Two good football teams who play quick ball, and werent afraid to get stuck into the mix when requried.

Yeah the Clann beat Annaclone by a point last night in a very exciting game. Both teams played their part in an end to end game, very exciting for the large crowd who turned up to support both teams. Good start tot he season for Clann na Banna, hope they can keep it up. Also great to see mc callister picking up the sigerson cup on tuesday evening and then playing for the clann making some great saves.

Good luck to both Clann na Banna and Annaclone for the rest of the season in what should be an eagerly contested league.

Team to watch this year is Loughinisland. Beat us in a tough encounter in Longstone Park. We couldn't do a thing with Big Dan, he run the show. Ref was weak though, let things develop and spoiled the game. Several incidents went unnoticed and dispite all Loughinislands good qualities they lay down an awful lot wasting time.

We were always chasing the game and took some time to settle after Michael Higgins was taken off. A speedy recovery is hoped for yourself Michael, Defence not as assured without you.

Also noted that Longstone were missing a number of regulars from Last years team, and boosted a very young squad bar one or two players. A lot is expected from these young men but under good guidence I'm sure they can develop into great players for the club.

Game was won and lost in Midfield. As mentioned before Dan Gordon fielding the ball on several occasions, Ambrose tried in vain but Loughinisland were quick for the breaks. I'd like to see them play the bridge just to measure how good they really are. On this form they will be hard to stop.

mark poland did not "roast" Liam Doyle but he put in a good performance. Very lucky to come away with a win! a few decisions near the end of the game will cause a stir!

Good result for the Stone on Friday night. Close to 10 men out injured we badly needed this win for a morale boost. From what i gather Kilcoo have a lot of guys away working in Scotland, is this true?

Kingdom off the mark to and the bridge still winning at a canter. Is there anyone out there up to the challange of knocking them off their throne? Seen glimpses of a decent challanger in Loughinisland but they fell at castlewellan. Clonduff off to a good start to. Burran stop start so far.

Heard clann na banna had another win on Friday night, will get a real challenge this week when they meet bryansford who are league leaders. Could this be the end of the clanns good start to the league.

Whats your thoughts on division2?

Yeah Bryansford are definately going to be the team to beat this season - but as we have seen time and time again every year in Div 2 it does not matter who finishes top, its all about getting into the top four because it is always a different kettle of fish come the play offs, be it in October or even November!!

Have to admit it has been an exciting season so far in Div2 as the whole thing has not gone as many would have predicted!!

Would love to have a look at an up to date table, any one know where to find one? (electronic format) Or even post an up to date one up here?
