in galligan's defence he gives a better option than mulvey..
and I am afraid Walsh wont cut the mustard at full back, he would be far more effective at the opposite end of the field or as a spoiler in midfield. how can you have a full back that cant catch the ball! Will chesty end up back in full back, or will Rory Dunne be tried again?
Keating deserves his place among the panel..might not start all the games but a couple of came roles at the start will bring him on leaps and bounds.
personally I am delighted to see Larry back, again he probably wont be a started but if were in a tight game with ten minutes to go, he is one person you know can come on and create something.
Also cant understand who so many are overlooking martin reilly...he was one of our better performers last year!
If pearson applies himself he will be a huge asset inside with jelly
McCabe wont last full games at midfield so maybe we could play walsh at FF and swap them around or just leave McCabe on the square..tough call for Tommy
Cant wait until to first league to see what state we are in and see what solutions he comes up,,the poor man has a big big job on his hands
1. Reilly-Obviously! 2. Brides-Agree! 3. Dermot Sheridan-Definitely not! 4. Hannon-Definitely not-Not a man Marker. 5. McKeever-Better off in the thick of the action. 6. Johnny Crowe-not experienced enough yet-Could be an option there in time tho. 7. Padraig Reilly- too slow. 8. John Tierney-Not near fit enough for midfield-Could give you an option at full forward tho. 9. McCabe-Nobody else-Agree. 10. Anton Reilly-Not yet-but in time maybe. 11. Lyng-Definitely 12. Givney-Nope. 13. Seanie Johnston-Definitely! 14. Gerald Pierson-Definitely! 15. Gumley-Nope-Mackeys a far better option.
In my opinion that would be a good strong team. Open to criticism...
This could be a future Cavan team without doubt.
