Cavan Panel

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

its the same old faces cant see anyone new in there that will make a difference.the passion is not there since colman left thats the reason cavan pushed the likes of armagh an tyrone close. its more of a damp squib these days. and is anyone else gettin sick an tired of the cavan post talkin up players who quite frankly have been useless all year ya sometimes wonder what games these people have watched or are they just goin by what a footballer has done in the past. rant over

hate to be pessimistic but i can see another poor year on the horizon for us..u wont win many ulster championship games with a midfield like ours....also our lack of size and strenght is worrying..

good to see some new faces and a few blasts from the past in the panel but i hope that when the pressure comes on carr that he dosent go back to the old faces again. GIVE YOUTH A CHANCE. that when you will really know if they are good enough or not, not in a wet february league match. keoghan brought in a good few new faces this time last year but still went back to the same old people in the end. LOOK WHERE IT GOT HIM. manager of denn!

in reply to toppers team,

The Drumlane keeper
killian Reilly
Barry Cusack
John odowd
Daniel Luby
Antony Gayner
Damian Higgins
McDerrmot from ballinagh
Declain McKeirnan
Conner smith
Neil Madden
Kevin Downs
Ado cole
Neligan from the Gaels
Finbar Reilly

Not too sure about alot of these lads,

just my opinion but here are a few more lads that would be good enough: would not be any worst!!

eamon brady - mulahoran
Patrick Galligan - Killygarry
Darren Smith - Lavey
Owen mcphilips - Denn
Owen Smith - Killygarry
Alan Clarke - Kingscourt
Eamonn Costello - Ballyhaise
Paddy mcnamee - Ramor
Enda King - Gaels
Donal Thomas - killygarry
Michael McDonald - Drumgoon
Croty - Gaels
Keating - Cuhullins

most of these lads played in the regionals and played well. these are just a few more lads to add to some of your names. I have not seen any junior mataches and only a few intermediate, but alot of these lads have been around awhile for there clubs and r stil young. only crotty and brady over 26.
Wat does anyone else think??

Cillian Reilly isnt a bad footballer, he must be decent if he got picked for the Jordanstown panel for the Mckenna cup. When you look at the players they have colm cavanagh ray mulgrew thomas mc cann that isnt for being a poor player.

It amazes me that these good young players aren't on the Cavan panel I honestly think there is a lot of favouritism and politics in Cavan football anyone agree.
