Cornafean have poor dressing rooms from the size of the complex that they have for some reason. Ben.Dover (Cavan) - Posts: 28 - 15/12/2008 22:53:39 164960 Link 0 |
for a relatively new grounds mountnugent isnt great, away dressingrooms are tiny. Shercocks setup isnt great either cavan4ever (Cavan) - Posts: 234 - 16/12/2008 11:17:13 165184 Link 0 |

The lavey ones would be ok if it was an 9 a side game. RHF (Cavan) - Posts: 884 - 16/12/2008 12:27:20 165253 Link 0 |
Cornafean have state of the art dressingrooms the most modern in Cavan , which they opened this year. I viewed them last Thursday when they hosted the county convention. The facilities they have would put many bigger clubs to shame. They have twice hosted the convention in recent years and on both occasions the organisation and hospitality was top class. Dont post criticism about clubs when you are not familiar with them. marita (None) - Posts: 469 - 16/12/2008 12:31:32 165256 Link 0 |
Marita, Mr. Pain agrees with you, the new dressing rooms are grand. The old ones were a joke and the pitch is still a joke though. For the size of Drumlane's fine new facilities the actual dressing rooms are not too big. There are four of them plus physio rooms but the eye was definately taken off the ball there when considering necessity. Excellent pitch though. Why how much bigger are the dressing rooms at Celtic Park Mr Pain? Your stand is too close to the pitch, which doesn't have a great surface, and there was almost a riot between supporters and mentors in the Division One final last year because of it. aheadofthecurve (Cavan) - Posts: 95 - 16/12/2008 14:14:07 165338 Link 0 |
Apologies Mr Pain I meant Crowe Park - what a ridiculous name that is. aheadofthecurve (Cavan) - Posts: 95 - 16/12/2008 14:24:54 165351 Link 0 |
Mr. Pain is not from Lacken if that is what you are referring to but he has played there and the actual dressing rooms are much larger than the Drumlane ones. You must be from there as Mr. Pain seems to have hit a nerve. The name Crowe Park is actually Joseph Crowe Memorial park Mr. Pain thinks and some ancestor of the Crowes currently playing there. As for riots, that is the work of idiots and not where a stand is placed. Kingscourt dressing rooms are large and their pitch is in great nick. Terry Coyle park is a disgrace as are Lavey's dressing rooms. Rant over! Mr. Pain (Cavan) - Posts: 92 - 16/12/2008 14:45:03 165373 Link 0 |
So Mr Pain? You mean to tell me that you think Drumlane have some of the worst dressing rooms in the county? aheadofthecurve (Cavan) - Posts: 95 - 16/12/2008 15:57:10 165447 Link 0 |

No, Mr. Pain just thinks it strange that they didn't build larger ones when they were at it. Who would you say have the worst? Mr. Pain (Cavan) - Posts: 92 - 16/12/2008 16:46:45 165509 Link 0 |
Drumalee has the same problem. Good pitch but very small dressing rooms. SantaClaus (Cavan) - Posts: 108 - 16/12/2008 17:04:54 165535 Link 0 |

Have to say lavey's away dressing rooms are extemely small but in fairness there excellent pitch and astroturf make up for this complaint. Drumgoons set up is pretty poor. Along with a desperate road leading up to the pitch and a hostile crowd when you get there, i must say it is certainly my least favourite match destination! speakmymind (Cavan) - Posts: 9 - 16/12/2008 20:17:03 165752 Link 0 |

why is nobody talking about terry coyle. it hasnt changed since i was playing and that wasnt yesterday or the day before that. its the county champions gound and its a dump. the pitch is always wet even in summer, the dressingrooms have one big door between them and are also small. there is no parking. at least the others mentioned are trying to better their lot - they might be small clubs but they are working very hard. i have to agree with drumgoon alright, wet and in the middle of nowhere also cootehill isnt great either Hurl08 (Cavan) - Posts: 164 - 17/12/2008 15:33:33 166311 Link 0 |
