Who is Emma O'Driscoll or should I say what qualifies her to be classed as a so called celebrity in the eyes of RTE?

She was in the Irish version of Popstars a few years back and made it to the final band called 'Six' they never made it to the big time though.
Currently she presents childrens programmes on RTE Two.
Pity they didn't make a hurling version of it this year.

I see. I never knew that being a contestant on a programme that very few people have ever heard of, being in a band that even less people have ever heard and presenting a children's television programme was sufficient to elevate an individual to celebrity status. I'm sure she knows her football though and that largely due to her inspirational influence this time next year Pats will be a senior football club.

Emma is a true Limerick girl very down to earth and is well taught of down rhebogue way and by the reaction of the children that were at the shooting of the programme she spent the best part of an hour signing autographs and getting her picture taken with them all so more luck to her

tom downes is a legend im delighted for him he is a players man and is one of very few in the county hu can command full respect from every player he deals with at club and county level.he is also a unique character and i cant wait too see him on the tv.if your looking for entertainment he is your man.good luck too him and all the lads involved.

Well done to the Saints today, a dogged performance that saw them never give up and won out well in the end. Brilliant atmosphere too, Sneem had a tremendous bunch of supporters and the whole setup in Rhebogue was well done. Who do they face next and when?
