Team started tonight versus longford, very imressive display, Barry Reilly scored 1-7/8 Midfield, was just super!

Watched them agaisnt Longford last Thursday, impressive but Longord were terrible!!!..The full back line was very small except for Killian Brady who was very solid...i was impressed with young McEvoy at wing back but Conor Tierney is not a number 6..Cavan midfield dominated for a change except last 10 mins of the first half, Niall McKiernan is big,strong and mobile-I was very impressed with him..As for Barry Reilly he gave an expedition of football, 1-8 from play!!! He was like a man among boys....half forward line was just average but I thought Emmet Fitsimons was good on the forty...Raymond Lynch gave a masterclass of football. He has everything, he can shoot,both feet and has serious pace!!! Packie Leddy was below his usual best and Shane Tierney showed well but his shooting want great and also a bit greedy...

Although they kicked a lot of ball away its good to see mickey bringing long ball back into the game. Overall I was fairly impressed,Cavan looked twice as fit as Longford and also much hungrier...considerin this was Cavans first game together they worked well as a unit and have plenty of good natural footballers...

i haven seen any1 mention peter morris(ST JOES) surely any1 dat has been 2 a joes game has recognised dat hes der in form player at d minute. i agree dat bouchier is 2 young but d fact paddy king isnt on d panel is a scandal he was 1 of d best midfielders in d county at minor level for d last 2 years!?!

not NEAR good enough to be starting on the county minors with the likes of packie leddy and barry reilly midfield.

fooligan, Paddy King should defiantly be on the County Minors without a dought, he has as similar style of football to Declan McKeirnan, but its Cavan that are missing out by not having him. They should really think about getting him back in.

fooligan leddy and reilly are both exceptional footballers but are differnent types of players 2 paddy king hes a natural fielder d other 2 are better ball carriers i played wit king on d county minor panel last year and he wud have played championship for cavan only for his leaving cert! he deserves his place on d team if not at mid field den in at full forward wer he plays wit his club seniors!

no im sayin paddy king and barry reilly mid field wud free leddy 2 play in d forwards i agree dat leddy and reilly are 2 of d best players we have of course dey shud be playin but it wud be under 12 football having dem both midfield and expecting dem 2 do everything for d team!
