Will any county u16s from this year make the panel apart from the obvious ones like flanagan and brady?, not too familiar with the county u16s this year but heard that these two are quality?, surely theres one or two more?

okk soo minor 09 av a gr8 outfit for nxt year!! captaincy roles cud go 2 Packie leddy, Barry reilly or tierney!! but in midfield i av 2 say a good parntnrship wud be last year minor's pair for Redbridge Packie Leddy (redhills) and Martin Walsh (redhills)..both men ova 6''2..and walsh being da stronger defensive!! and leddy da quick attacker and sharpshooter!! anyone av der say on diz matter?

I have followed the Gaels underage level of under 16 & minor throughout most part the year because my neighbour was on both panels. Now it certain that the Gaels won't be dominating the minor panels in coming years as they did this year. I think the only Gaels man that will be starting is Fearghal Blessing and i hope he does start corner back all because he has played there for the Gaels minor all season and as well he played there for the county under 16s a year back. He may lack height but that is his position and he's familiar with it and he does well there, i'm just afraid to see a player playing corner back who regularly plays further out-field for his club. I taught Dara Tighe was teriffic playing corner back for county for the past 2 years and i think thats down for him playing that position regularly for both minor and senior. For the other Gaels players considered being Sean Hanley and Daragh Sexton i think they are pretty good footballers it's just i think their maybe better players going out there but in fairness they won their places on the Gaels minor team this year so they could have it in them to know how to win places on county. In relation to Morgan Young he just won't get it. I was at both Gaels under 16 semi final and finals and he can get a good kick-outs but he can't keep consistency with them particularly against the wind and when it comes to the high balls dropping in he can take them no bother if the players surrounding him are either same size or shorter however against Kingscourt in the minor league this year 2 balls came between him and another player who was just a like inch taller than him and he failed to catch them.

I picked this team based on form over the past few months, obviously it will change around through the year but i believe every player mentioed will feature in their proposed position at least once.

doherty hasnt been playin for the last few months,but the last time i saw him playin he had a great game,not a dead cert for the panel but a possibility.as for bouchier,i wouldnt have him on the panel,great player and possibly fit for it but he is too young,hes injured at the minute,and id say it could be from playin div 1 u16s and minor and dev squad,especialy when hes one of the most important players in both u16s and minors.

i wasnt doubtin doherty in my last comment i was jus pointin ou d flaws in d so called team on form. to pick up on d boucher debate, der is an argument dat he is too young but i bet no1 can name 7 fowards elligable 4 nxt years panel dat is better den him??? or to look at it another way wat corner back in cavan wud b fit to make him nxt year????

Rickey bobby,i agree with you totaly,in no way can anyone say doherty has been on form because he hasnt been playin for ages.like i said in my earlier post bouchier is well fit for county minor,but still a bit young to be playing at that level.do you play for st joes minors or are you just from arva?

well fooligan i was actually a minor two years ago and no from experience that the less hype the better. Cavan always do. Its not our fault we are just so desperate for sucess - but puttin pressure on our minors does not help them.

It seems we will never learn. if we talked about the senior team half as much as the minors
