listin MBC, every man is worth a shot on the panel/triallist, ya cant stick wit the same players every year thats one of cavans many problems we need new players in there, leonard is playin welll and eoin mc guigan is a good player , cavan need big men and he is a strong lad also need gaynor as a wing back or even in the centre fair enough he is either gonna play super or get sent of but cavan manager has to have words with him ,

Sure, i forget to put in a word big deal please KEEP ur childish comments for the school yard please Cavan need to take a leaf out of Tyrones book and get more dediction and hunger and less pettiness like ur comments.
Some people on here really need to look at the bigger picture we have 2 very good players in seanie johnston and james reilly the rest of the players are very average to say the least when u compare them to the likes of tyrone and kerry.
These cavan players may b class to the rural people who never see a game outside of cavan gaa.
One more thing id like to add is our minors this year looked pretty good some talented players maybe we can build on this also time to forget about mc cabe, a forde and jason reilly

Hey Paulie, did you happen to see your "big straong man" mcguigan against gowna. He got a roasting my mckeever. He out jumped, out played, out faught and out ran him. There are alot of people out there saying mckeever is a small man. Some player!!

Here we go, another Gaynor rant. Did he not do enough in Navan earlier in the year to prove to anyone that he's a complete liability. Should have got the line against Castlerahan too! No, average players such as McGuigan and Leonard should not receive trials because they haven't done anything to distinguish themselves. Where are their SFC and IFC medals? Not much underage as far as a I can recall, certainly nothing at inter-county level anyway. Get real, paulie!

THEN STOP GOING INTO THE THREAD MCNULTY!!!

If you want predictions, then go into the various championship threads. It's pretty simple really!!

Have to agree with Mc nulty these predictions are pretty boring and annoying. Tommy carr is the man to pick the cavan panel he has a fairly good knowledge of the game from his experience and should a good eye for potential players.

Everyone is throwing in their lists without looking at the structure of the game in this county. Too many average players playing with average clubs. The idea of divisional sides is a good one. There have always been Junior and Intermediate players who should be able to make the grade at intercounty level but dont get to play in a team that can help with the transition from middle of the road football (at which they excel) to intercounty standard. Playing in a divisional side e.g. west cavan made up of the best players of junior and intermediate clubs would shake up the senior club championship. Many complacent senior clubs would get a good run for their money and the county team managment would get to see these players operaing at the higher grade before risking them at county level. Let them play in their own (junior, intermediate) championship before moving up to senior football with the divisional side which the better players deserve.
