Ach! What can I say! Started the game like steam train and probably cost ourselves a few easy points instead of trying to play through them for goals, old saying…take your points and the goals will come. Second half we played great in patches and defensively a lot tighter. Thought Paddy Burke and Eoin Campbell both outstanding, would grace any team in Ireland. Had a 5 minute spell in the 2nd half where our shooting was awful. The three lads are normally so deadly as well. Never been prouder coming from the Dall of the lads. We had a belief that we could have got to the final this year especially after nearly beating Dunloy last year. I truly think this was a great chance of winning it especially with ballygunnar out. Could go through all the chances we had, but The Gaels had some as well. Think this is about the 3rd or 4th semi we've been beaten by a point. Tough to take. Good luck to the Gaels.

All credit goes to slaughtneil, they were well up for the game tonight. The Ruairis were a shadow of the team that won Antrim but that could be down to slaughtneil being fitter and hungrier. Couple of the lads overweight were coming from long term injuries and definitely not fighting fit for this level. Neil was the best player for the Ogs by a country mile. Number 2 for slaughtneil was their MOTM as he turned nearly everything. Will be a cracking final and whoever wins will definitely give the Munster champions a good game. There's not much between the big 3 in Antrim and Slaughtneil and Portaferry. Could play these games and could have a different winner every time. The days that the Antrim Champions would breeze Ulster are long gone. As a Dall man I knew tonight was going to be a tough one as I felt we weren't playing as well as last year. A few of our players were carrying injuries through the season and longer the game went on it showed. Still proud to be a Ruairi through and through. Well played Slaughtneil and good luck for the final and beyond.

Replying To CorkLiamMcCarthy24:  "nonsense"
A booked player dragged a player down off the ball twice after being booked, and any deliberate head contact with the stick are both red cards. If that had been by a ulster player he would have walked, and rightly.

There could have been 6 different winners this year as there were no outstanding teams, some absolutely cracker games that could easily have went a different way. However we are down to the final two and IMO I can't see pass Na Fianna. They just seem to have that little extra all over the pitch. I'm going for a comfortable 4pt win.
