Shane O'Brien of Ard Scoil Rís in Limerick may have sewn up the 'point of the year award' already, after producing a wonderful piece of skill in his side's runaway 4-18 to 1-12 victory over Thurles CBS on Saturday.
The Kilmallock youngster had already notched 2-5, with Ard Scoil Rís netting all four goals in a dominant first-half display, and then rounded off a fruitful afternoon at Nenagh in sensational style in the 45th minute.
Ard Scoil Rís, who are managed by Niall Moran, Cormac O'Donovan and Paul Flanagan, will face first-time finalists St Joseph's, Tulla in the Munster PPS SH 'A' decider on Saturday week, 5 February.
The east Clare school secured their place following a 0-20 to 1-13 win against De La Salle College of Waterford in Mallow where Sean Withycombe scored 0-15 for the winners.
