The passing of Ollie Finn, late of St. Beccan's Terrace, Tullamore Road, in January was greeted with sadness by everyone in Kilbeggan Shamrocks. Aged 92, Ollie was one of the town's oldest residents and one of the club's greatest supporters. He was actively involved for many years, serving as both a selector and treasurer. His son Nicky is a member of the current committee and is also in charge of the club's Astroturf facility.
