Alan Reidy, Curraheen Road, Bishopstown, County Cork and late of Achill, County Mayo and Athlone, County Westmeath, who passed away on Saturday, May 6th, 2017, was goalkeeper on the Garrycastle team that won the 1993 junior football championship. Alan also represented the club in the following year's IFC before moving to Dublin due to his work with Dunnes Stores. He will be remembered as an excellent footballer and a great friend to the club.
