This whole thread is a cluster f**k. The GAA is the most popular sport and gets the most attention, and the most support. Rugby and Soccer will always get some attention as there is a national team.

If Antrim beat Westmeath and Kilkenny beat Wexford next week Wexford will be relegated to the Joe McDonagh

Leinster Football The Reality - 2 Like(s)
Leinster is doing okay. Dublin are just very good. In the last 16 there are: Connacht 3 Munster 3 Ulster 4 Leinster 6 If Dublin were a bit worse there'd be a great championship there. Longford and Louth also are not that bad. In the south of the province Carlow, Kilkenny and Wexford are going relatively well in the hurling.

Kerry v Offaly in Tralee is basically a Joe McDonagh Semi final today and not even on GAA GO.

Munster MFC Cork 5-28 Waterford 0-03 (40 Point Win) - 2 Like(s)
No one batted an eyelid when Cork minor hurlers humiliated Clare also by 40 points. Cork 6-28 Clare 0-6 Should Clare be relegated in hurling? Their U20s also lost by a lot. If Waterford are going to be relegated in football, so should Clare in hurling. Maybe Cork have sorted out their issues and are going to be a force in the coming years.

Dublin's hammering of Meath shows that 16 teams in the Sam Maguire is too much.

Tyrone should put out an U21 team. They have to beat one of Kerry/Donegal in the semi and Dublin in the final. If they win or get near Dublin in the group match it won't help them in the second game.

Clare and Cavan drawing at the moment. If Clare could sneak that there'll only by 2 points between promotion and relegation. The league is really showing this year that there is a leading 7 counties and then about 15-16 teams (including meath) that are tier 2 and then 9-10 that are tier 3.

Munster Football Final - Tipp V Cork - 2 Like(s)

Replying To tiobraid:  "Since 2016, I think dublin have made them all, Kerry, Mayo, tyrone and tipp are the only one ms to make more than one - I think! Which is an amazing statistic if I'm correct On a side note I've been making the point for years regarding the provincial cship. Tipp and Cavan would have literally nothing to play for and would lack motivation for the cship if you get rid of it - as it would be the same for most other teams."
Problem with this is the Leinster counties are screwed - stuck with Dublin. I think Dublin will be a force forever more. Maybe time to split them into 4 council areas. The have over 1.3million. 6 Leinster counties have less than 100k

Offaly were 5 up when tipp got a red with about 10min to go. An Offaly lad was through on goal and the trailing tipp defender threw his hurl at him, hard. Hit the Offaly forward in the head.

The rules will surely have to change. 3-18 in a half. Limerick missed another 1-5. Make the ball heavier. The Hurley lighter. Ban the handpass unless a clear strike. Only one catch allowed. Anything. There were no tackles or hits or challenges in that entire half. They say the Football is boring but this is worse

Full Stadium For Hurling And Football Finals. - 2 Like(s)

Replying To dingle2:  "All Premier League grounds packed to capacity this weekend. GAA should demand full capacity for Hurling and Football All Ireland Finals. No medical or scientific reason why this should not happen (unless the NEPHET gurus state that the now humanised Covid virus prefers GAA games rather than Premier League matches - ergo reduced attendances). 82,500 for Croker must be allowed and the GAA should insist on same. Ciarraí Abú."
You do realise the premier league is a different country with different rules? Do they have different rules in Kerry? Do they not have covid down in Kerry?
