Kilmoyley gave Kerry hurling a real shot in the arm with an impressive 4-12 to 0-14 win over Moyne-Templetuohy of Tipperary in the Munster club IHC quarter-final yesterday.

Maurice O Connor (2), Adrian Royle and Daire Nolan scored the goals for the Kingdom standard bearers as they advanced to meet Dunhill (Waterford) on December 11/12.

O'Connor raised Kilmoyley's first green flag on 12 minutes and they went on to lead by 2-7 to 0-8 at half-time having trailed the fancied hosts by 0-3 to 0-1 during the opening stages.

In the Munster club JHC quarter-final at Sixmilebridge, Ogonelloe (Clare) came from behind to beat Brickey Rangers (Waterford) 3-13 to 2-13.

At McQuillan Park in Ballycastle, Tyrone SHC title holders Eire Og Carrickmore also hit the net four times to get the better of Carey Faughs of Antrim on a 4-9 to 1-13 scoreline.

But they will have to wait to find out who their Ulster club IHC semi-final opponents will be after the Fermanagh-Down clash between Lisbellaw St Patrick's and Newry Shamrocks was postponed due to Covid-19.

Carrickmacross completed the line-up for the Ulster club JHC semi-finals after seeing off Down opponents Ballela in extra-time, 2-23 to 3-16.

It was a good day for Monaghan sides as Sean McDermotts eked out a 0-16 to 1-11 victory over Belleek (Armagh) in the Ulster club JFC at Crossmaglen.

They will face Downings next after the Donegal champions defeated Aughlisnafin (Down) 0-11 to 0-7, while Desertmartin (Derry) had too much for St Patrick's, Donagh (Fermanagh) in the other quarter-final tie, 1-16 to 0-7.
