Kildare manager Cian O’Neill has been forced to make changes to his backroom team.

Both Enda Murphy and Ronan Sweeney have left the management team due to work commitments. The duo were selectors for the past two years, but cannot give the commitment for a third year.

However, O’Neill has moved swiftly to find replacements and he has gone for two high profile appointments as Kildare look to improve on this year’s campaign.

Former Kerry and Kildare footballer Karl O’Dwyer and ex-Offaly, Laois and Westmeath manager Tom Cribbin have been drafted in.

A third selector is expected to be appointed in the next week or so.
