Brian Lohan has made some big changes to his Clare hurling backroom team ahead of the 2024 campaign.
Two-time All-Star defender Brendan Bugler, who was manager of Offaly giants Birr in 2021 and '22, and was involved with the Clare U20s for the last two years, is taking up the role of coach, while Clooney-Quin manager and chairman Tommy Corbett is also coming on board as a selector. Lukasz Kirszenstein, who was strength and conditioning coach to Tipperary and Galway when they won All-Ireland SHC titles in 2016 and '17 respectively, is the other new face in the set-up.
Former Galway full back Seán Treacy, James Moran and Adrian O'Brien have departed the set-up, leaving Ken Ralph and Lohan - who is entering his fifth season as manager - as they only links with the outgoing management.
