The race for the New York Cup is hotting up with Derrygonnelly Harps and holders Enniskillen Gaels through to the semi-finals.
The Harps finished top of Group A after an early Gary McKenna goal set up them up for a 2-7 to 1-7 victory over Erne Gaels. Garvan Jones added a second midway through to the second half to make it 2-5 to 0-4 before a Michael Óg McGarrigle major for the Belleek outfit left them hanging on a little bit at the end.
The defeat means Erne Gaels have to be content with a home quarter-final against Ederney who were pipped by Kinawley in Group B. Tomas Corrigan scored two late points to hand Kinawley a 0-11 to 0-10 victory and a home quarter-final against the winner of the Roslea v Belnaleck tie which was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Enniskillen made it three wins from three in Group B with a 2-13 to 0-9 win over last year's intermediate champions Devenish, who will face the loser of Roslea v Belnaleck in a relegation playoff.
