Kerry got the rub of the green int he quarter too. I'll never forget the game down in Limerick in 2014. If cookies crumble fairly (they don't) then maybe Mayo will get the calls Sunday week. I wouldn't hold my breath though.

A tad melodramatic. Some of those accusations were levelled at the powers that be during Dublins prime years too. Seniorleague (Galway) - Posts: 188 - 14/07/2026 23:12:52 2685806 Link 2 |

At least Kobe will escape all that here, when he heads off to Aus…! As our fellow poster said previously - a lot of similarities to what is happening with Argentina in the World Cup so far. Anyway, I am a lot more hopeful for next year after seeing how Ger, and the players, turned this season around in the last few weeks. Ah now , i think there is balancing and there is imbalancing. Even with my biased Galway head i think that in Dublin Galway game the decisions that went against us were debatable and im not sure if they ultimately impacted the result. Thats not the case in the kerry dublin game. People are arguing that there was only 1 wrong decision and that the dublin goal that wasnt is inconclusive. I have watched that ball over the line several times and done some geometric calculations to compensate for the camera angle, and while we cant be 100% certain, i am 99.9% certain that the whole of the ball was over the line . The penalty is debatable but i would say that 90% of refs dont award a penalty there. I think in the flow of the game if any 2 ( or even 1)of those 3 decisions were correctly made, then we would be looking at Mayo v Dublin on sunday week.

Not that bizarre. But i agree that it should not have been a free out........Nor should it have been a peno.

Kerry will improve immensely sunday week. Fionns clever mind games on here the last 2 weeks clearly affected Kerrys preparation, injecting an air of complacency into the squad. Reading his posts, they began to believe the hype and believed it was just a matter of turning up,,and they almost paid the price. Surely they wont make the same mistake twice. We'll forget about the Tyrone decisions. Things go for you and things go against you.

If you want I will do the same for the Limerick hurlers this weekend. Hopefully the same full time outcome…. Fionn (Dublin) - Posts: 5190 - 16/07/2026 09:28:40 2685914 Link 1 |

Tyrone nudged out Mayo in a 50-50 game. Kerry nudged out Tyrone in a 50-50 game. The only direct linear line that anyone can reasonably draw between the progress of both finalists. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 9989 - 20/07/2026 14:13:29 2686368 Link 0 |

Kerry like Limerick won games playing poor. Like limerick they will peak for final. Kerry could win by 15-20 with lads hitting form. Madness put €100 for turkey shoot out. hlynch12 (Limerick) - Posts: 238 - 20/07/2026 16:53:16 2686395 Link 3 |

Kerry tend to get rub of the green. IF not referees will be subjected to hate campaign from the yerra media.

Andrew Moran lost 6/6 finals as player. Going for 100% record as gaffer too. hlynch12 (Limerick) - Posts: 238 - 20/07/2026 17:05:36 2686400 Link 1 |

Mayo's win over Meath has been a turning point in their season. A dangerous opponent. There's no doubt about that. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 9989 - 21/07/2026 09:48:36 2686451 Link 0 |

That game seemed to turn in their favour in the minutes before half time.
