Its probably a fair reflection of the state of each team in the province. Expecting a huge Leitrim crowd in Newry at the weekend, we will surely bring 10-12 thousand at least." Yes some very shrewd football people alright if you picked 8 Leitrim and 2 Roscommon players on your best team. Are you sure ye were watching the right matches or were they all Leitrim club games?? Roscommon are a example to us, when we wonder why we haven't moved on one bit over the last 30 odd years I guess we should look at what has kept everything the same for that period, no vision, no guidance no anything. But yet we still have a good crop of players, but thats down to clubs coaching and Mr Poacher bringing them on to the standard expected. Its always gonna be tough for us until we get the groundwork in right at county board level.
