Any reports from the weekend club games in Leitrim?

The next game against Leitrim Gaels will be the real test of their new status at Senior level. And I think another poster criticising Leitrim Observer Sports coverage is way off the mark. John Connolly & PJ Leddy do a fantastic job in covering so much Sport in the County with limited resources . With so many Club & County games going on they can't be everywhere .very unfair criticism"
Yea they mentioned that alright at the game that there was a wedding on and had a lot of players missing. I hear their corner forward ciaran mc morrow is injured and caleb duffy they said could be out for a few months with a bad injury. I'd like to see themselves or aughavas staying up. Too many times we see of strong enough team come up to senior and go straight back down again.

Leitrim football has enough problems without snide references to clubs being from other counties.

I'd agree with the efforts put in by John and PJ who cover a lot of ground. However it wouldn't take a lot for the Observer to publish league tables and maybe even a few lines on most games (quick call to each club PRO?). I know we can get the tables on the Leitrim GAA website (which is very good and generally much better than most counties) but for those who are not IT literate and still rely on the Observer, especially older people it'd be a nice service.

Agreed regarding the two lads them and the observer can only do so much. Onus should be on clubs to provide a certain level of coverage for club games. I went into Allen Gaels Facebook page to try find a team sheet when someone said they were missing 9 starters and couldn't even find a mention of the game but was bombarded with posts about their 50/50 lotto.

Only team sheets I could find were mohills via their club notes and annaduffs.

Clubs will want people's money but they don't even want to promote their teams playing.
