Replying To Viking66:  "Id say he will do whatever he thinks best for his team.
Its ok for Kerry, you won't have a meaningful knockout championship game that you might lose until nearly July. Plenty of time for Jack to work on whatever he wants to work on."
He can but it will be hypocritical if he pulls up the handbrake.

15. Down
16. Westmeath
17. Cavan
18. Offaly
Cavan and Offaly currently in the red zone for missing out on the championship.

Leinster semi final:
Meath v Westmeath or Longford - Kildare v Laois or OFFALY

Ulster semi final:
Derry v Antrim - CAVAN v Monaghan

Replying To Seanfan:  "As Donegal haven't a Championship game for 4 weeks after League Final will Jimmy let his team go for it this year?"
No matter what he does he will be making excuses anyway.

When did Cork draw with Kerry? Kerry beat Cork in Munster after ET ( Kerry had only started championship training at that stage). Kerry beat Cork by 11 points in the All Ireland Group stage.

Replying To legendzxix:  "Jimmy McGuinness got on his high horse complaining about provincial championships starting a week after the league finals, and rightly so. He was fully right.
Jimmy McGuinness talked the talk. GAA HQ responded by creating a free weekend after the league finals. Jimmy McGuinness must now walk the walk and lead Donegal to the league final. Any pulling up of the handbrake will be hypocrisy of the highest order."
Mmm … hypocrisy for conserving energy , minimising injuries etc…. Mustn't forget that Donegal had to play 11 gruelling championship matches last year, winning nine but were very flat by the time final came about. Your posts are usually very fair but calling an amateur a hypocrite for following their own plan isn't in that bracket.

Yes they did. Do you think they might win an AI this year?

No,Cork wont win a football All Ireland this year but they seem to be able to put ot up to Kerry and are pronably better than most Leinster teams

They will be on a par with all the best Leinster teams, maybe as soon as next year.

The sides were level after normal time. They played extra time and Kerry won. How is that a draw?

If Roscommon beat Dublin this weekend, they'll secure Division 1. They'll be in a great position to go for the final as well. Donegal might be tempted to rotate their squad after Galway at home this weekend. Donegal travel to Roscommon in Round 6. The ground that had Jimmy McGuinness irate last year when he completely overlooked the unfairness of Kerry travelling to Tullamore.
