Oh, I know. Meath are favourites to win Leinster.

I was being facetious, given the source of the comment. Possibly a stint in two might not do Dublin any harm. It is still a competitive grade but allows more space for revamp which is only in early stages. Underage is sadly lacking and has been for a few years. That needs to be corrected first.

As above, it is good to see that their retain the spirit and heart that ought to be the default of any Dublin team. Can't ask for any more than that.

100% - we will be lucky to get a Leinster title out of this current Dubs squad.

Once again we are over reliant on Con...

This is a rebuild and as you say, patience is required.

Love to know where our conveyor belt disappeared to...??
Oh wait... ;o)

Pretty toothless upfront, decent buildup, but really shocking wides and balls dropping to keeper. Ball handling in particular was pretty juvenile. I am afraid we not even nearly good enough.

Fully agree.
About a 45% shot success rate - 9 wides and 8 dropped short.
Trying to force 2 pointers... madness.

As I said ages ago - how we let our underage slip so badly is mind boggling...
DCB seem to be addressing it now but it will be a few years before we see the benefits of it.

But hey, we are still contenders according to some. And will be there or thereabouts...

I think you are right about Div 2 for this Dublin squad.
It will give them time to breathe and develop.
We are no longer Division 1 standard unfortunately.

Patience is the main thing now....

Massive result for the Rossies - fair play to them.
Makes our task even more difficult now though.

Dont be so negatve Fionn. Are you saying
David Byrne,Murchan,Howard,McMahonClancy,POCB,Scully,Bugler,Kilkenny,Basquel,Con,Costello,Small,Breathnach are division 2 standard?.
Not a hope.Yes we not the team we were but we still a division one team and on a given day can beat anyone.
Next weekend we can beat Kerry.Maybe not in championship but at mo we can.Kerry are missing players in crucial positions like midfield and half back line and their full back Foley got injured last night.
I think we can beat Kerry Roscommon and then we should be safe and no reason we cant take Armagh or Galway either.

I certainly tbink we will win at least two of the last four games.
