Replying To legendzxix:  "Separating provincials from the All Ireland shouldn't be such a seismic step. Winning provincial finals this year offers no seeding reward in the All Ireland. The provincials have low impact on All Ireland qualification."
I didn't mention 'winning provincial finals'.

Never said you did! I said it myself for my own point!!
Provincial finals are essentially standalone fixtures. If the finals are standalone, the championships themselves can be standalone.

Replying To legendzxix:  "30k plus in PuC for a league game. 9k in the Gaelic Grounds Limerick for a league game. Between the split season and eagerness by supporters to see how their counties are progressing ahead of a tough Munster hurling championship - seems little grounds for sweeping changes."
Be fair - are you not cherry picking?

Weren't Waterford v Offaly, Antrim v Kildare & Clare v Down played as well.
