Dubs on sat evening looking forward to it and the buzz around salthill. Any word on the extent of injuries to SW & Damo? We have a great panel but will need them if we are to get over the line with Sam but I I'm afraid I don't trust their fitness but great to see O Conghaile step up off bench & Thompson has been a great find. Cooke back is Massive and credit to PJ for making that call. I don't buy into group of death and never dismiss a Connacht medal but also the way we won it & how we won it will give us great momentum

Great win for the squad, to beat Roscommon and Mayo without 2 of the best players is mighty going.
Thompson very good, Conroy and McDaid were real leaders the last day.
They have a great tactic on kickouts now, with certain players getting in under opposition jumpers and leaving our jumpers free to get a jump at it. Opposition will cop on to it you would think now though.
Dublin will be a very tough game, they will have a point to prove after the Meath game and us knocking them out last year

There's going to be one massive Galway crowd at Pearse on Saturday week! Just gauging the interest I'm hearing in the double header at clubs and from the type of punters that only make the trip for the very odd game - they're all goin! It'll be electric. Momentum is rolling with Galway now, so let's embrace it and keep it building, and target two monster performances from our flagship teams.
Beating the Dubs in Pearse would be a massive step onwards and statement of intent after the Connacht title. The Dubs desperately want a resurgence after the Meath defeat and we will have to go to war with them to stop that happening. They were utterly ruthless to all and sundry for years, time we show the teeth even more now and I really think we're going to see it - the blood is up! Time to be ruthless. Let's coat Pearse with the maroon and white. Marún 's Bán go deo!!!

Is that Tomás Mannion out of retirement at no2? He's 56 this year, could do a job no doubt.

As a Dub I'm really looking forward to travelling. I think it's the perfect game for us, given our performance against Meath. I'm not overly confident, but will travel with the many hordes of Dubs in expectation and with no fear. Dublin with everything to prove against a Galway side high on confidence without two of their talisman. Should be a belter!

I don't agree with you. I enjoy Kickitout posts, as I said he can be very negative but the man does know his football. Genuinely interested to hear his thoughts of Mayo game and his thoughts on upcoming game v Dublin

I actually did post on Monday but for some reason it never went through ,,on the game I did predict Galway would score 1-16 but I did also predict mayo would win I was basing it on fact I though 1-16 would not be enough to win ,, it was great win nice to do 4 in a row in fairness I didn't think Galway played as well as I've seen before mayo left 5-6 handy scores behind them looking forward to dubs match I think it's important Galway get starting team right and match up as well the 2 main men for dubs scoring wise o collaghsn and Costello need serious attention McGrath on con and prob silke on Costello and def need put pressure on Dublin kickouts I'd imagine dubs will prob put Howard on conroy and force him to go after him I diont expect many changes next day I'd definitely put either Hernon or Sean Kelly centre back if Kelly then Cooke to wing forward if Hernon Kelly stays there I know Joyce mighr not want start Hernon as he option for full back if required but I'd definitely not start Mulkerrins there as dubs would target him big time , I honestly believe for Galway 2 beat dubs they will need Shane Walsh on squad as in my opinion Galway prib need score 1-20 or around that ,,,

I'd say Walsh isn't far away by the talk going around. I agree on Mulkerrins. I would be surprised if we see Molloy play much this summer for Galway after Sunday

Good analysis, 1:16 wouldnt beat any of the other top sides. Galway very strong and athletic around the middle but lack real class up front. Shane Walsh is inconsistent but he is the one Galway player who isnt just a good athlete.

That's right, Conroy is just a good athlete realiy, you'd never see him kick the ball.

Finnerty is a sensational athlete far better one than Walsh Lol

Thompson same see their left footed points?? what Mayo wouldn't have gave for Anthony Finnerty to move back home yed have a leftie free taker.
