Kerry got the rub of the green int he quarter too. I'll never forget the game down in Limerick in 2014. If cookies crumble fairly (they don't) then maybe Mayo will get the calls Sunday week. I wouldn't hold my breath though.

A tad melodramatic. Some of those accusations were levelled at the powers that be during Dublins prime years too. Seniorleague (Galway) - Posts: 162 - 14/07/2026 23:12:52 2685806 Link 0 |

At least Kobe will escape all that here, when he heads off to Aus…! As our fellow poster said previously - a lot of similarities to what is happening with Argentina in the World Cup so far. Anyway, I am a lot more hopeful for next year after seeing how Ger, and the players, turned this season around in the last few weeks. Ah now , i think there is balancing and there is imbalancing. Even with my biased Galway head i think that in Dublin Galway game the decisions that went against us were debatable and im not sure if they ultimately impacted the result. Thats not the case in the kerry dublin game. People are arguing that there was only 1 wrong decision and that the dublin goal that wasnt is inconclusive. I have watched that ball over the line several times and done some geometric calculations to compensate for the camera angle, and while we cant be 100% certain, i am 99.9% certain that the whole of the ball was over the line . The penalty is debatable but i would say that 90% of refs dont award a penalty there. I think in the flow of the game if any 2 ( or even 1)of those 3 decisions were correctly made, then we would be looking at Mayo v Dublin on sunday week.

Not that bizarre. But i agree that it should not have been a free out........Nor should it have been a peno.
