Louth's win in the QF was unbelievable - it shouldn't be possible under the new rules.

Under the old rules it was possible by getting everyone behind the ball and play on the break.

64 minutes with a man down meant that when they went into the opponents half it was 10 v 11 (plus keeper). When defending it was 10 (plus keeper) v 11.

They scored 26 points in these conditions. Remarkable.

That's why I think they'll beat Mayo.

5.12 To deliberately collide with an opponent after that opponent has played the ball away or for the
purpose of taking that opponent out of the movement of play.
5.13 To deliberately prevent or restrict, or to attempt to prevent or restrict, an opponent from moving
or from playing the ball, by holding up an opponent.

So unless there is a deliberate movement into the opposition player - then its not a foul

Yeah the home ground is an advantage.

Maybe Kerry management can bring in some ex-players like Brendan O'Sullivan or Aidan O'Mahony to teach the lads how they used to make up the advantage gap. Not many inter-county squads would have guys like that they can call on for advice.

If Kerry play the version of the Mayo defence that showed up against Meath or the version of Louth that showed up the first game against Dublin, you're talking about at least 16 points tbh.

I think you need to look at that again, the second Kerry midfielder blocks Fenton at the throw up giving Moran an easy opportunity to catch the ball, bizarrely Moran opts to punch the ball forward and Murchan gathers it at pace with a despairing Moran losing ground in the chase. The other Kerry midfielder is still engaged with Fenton but it was the Kerry man who initiated the block to give Moran an easy possession which he didn't take.
