An epic game in Kingspan Breffni. Erne Gaels advanced to Ulster club SFC semi-finals after extra time victory over Kingscourt. 3-15 to 1-16 after extra time. Kilcoo up next for them.
Ballina will face St Brigid's in the Connacht semi-finals.

Kilcoo very comfortable last night in Omagh, Loughmacrory struggled with kilcoo intensity and work rate, there key men struggled to get into the game.
Conditions made handling difficult but still some very good football played, chatting to a few Loughmacrory men last night they weren't to downbeat as the team have had an unbelievable year and thats a young team who i think will be back on this stage again.

Mungret St. Pauls: 0-12(12) Newcastle West : 1-5(8). Dingle v Mungret in Munster semi finals in two weeks time.
Newbridge had the experience to deal with the occasion in Armagh. Scotstown up next for them.
Eire Og had a good win over Rathgormack. Clonmel Commercials (Tipperary) or St Finbarr's (Cork) up next.

Kilcoo from this weekend seem to be the team to beat but it will of course be put up to them in Ulster.

Very hard to call some of this weeks games, especially Leinster and in particular Naomh Mairtin Portarlington and The Downs v Tullamore. Brigids Ballina also a tricky one to call.

Tough ones to call alright. Brigids have won Connacht titles. Ballina 3 in a row county champions. Should be a good head to head battle.
Seems to be confidence in Leinster that it'll be put up to Boden during the championship. Naomh Mairtin v Portarlington and The Downs v Tullamore could go either way.

You're right Paddy, they'll be hard to stop, wouldn't worry too much about Kilcoo later on.

How poor were Summerhill in the second half? Played like a Junior team, giving away lazy turnovers in consecutive possessions. How they were still within 3 points of Athy with 15 minutes left was beyond me.

Definitely fancy Portarlington against Martins. Think bookies priced it wrong.

Summerhill was so poor especially in the 2nd half scoring just 1 point. Leinster remains Ballybodens to lose IMO.

Not so sure about that. Well past their best. Portarlington much better than when Kilmacud beat them and Crokes way better team than Boden now.

I don't like to take shots at a team which lost, but they were awful. I think they'll admit that themselves.
Athy were good at pressuring them, but Summerhill got turned over so many times coming out with the ball. It was incredible how poor they were at working it out and retaining possession. That happened on the occasions Athy let them go short. When they forced them to go long later in the 2nd half, Athy cleaned up as well. Summerhill could hardly win a ball in midfield.
Their forward line were spectators for most of the 2nd half.
Athy do look strong, but they wasteful enough and will have to be a lot more clinical against better teams. They should have been much further ahead with 15 minutes left, but in fairness they did drive on from there and the scoreline was a better reflection of the game by the end.

Big win for Brigids over Ballina. Moycullen through as expected in the other semi final.
Boden, Portarlington and Tullamore join Athy in Leinster semi finals: Athy v Portarlington and Tullamore v Boden.

Boden won in canter but poor opposition. Goalkeeper was their highest scorer i think!

The Downs must have been very bad. Tullamore no slouches but by all accounts that game was over at half time and the two point margin very generous on the Downs. Didn't expect such a dominant Tullamore win.

Great win for Portarlington.

Good shout. Hope you had a few bob on.

Didn't know much about either Downs or Tullamore. Portarlington be my fancy to win Leinster. They are on right side of experience at this stage with some good additions since time they lost to Crokes in final after building a big lead.

Boden in general on down curve. Cuala let the semi final slip away through loss of concentration.
