Didn't intend on opening a can of worms re Bernard Dunne. Was just responding to the other post.
Some say he's a high performance advisor, some say he's a psychologist? Which is it?
Its very vague, but also while I get its independently funded would it not be concerning that he was surplus to requirements in Dublin GAA given their (no disrespect) superior financial backing?
I get the independent funding element and of course, why would they say no. But would it not be better spent on say a top coach or two to oversee a development squad? Like Anthony Daly did in Limerick?

Dunne was with the Dublin Footballers from 2013 to around 2018 I think. They won the 1st of their 6 in a row in 2013. He was with the Galway Footballers from 2022 to 2024 as far as I remember, those 2 years being the only 2 years that Galway reached AI finals since 2001.
That could all be coincidence of course Exiled, maybe Dublin and Galway wouldve had that success without him. I suppose we might see if he has a positive effect on our lads over the next year or 2, although just as his role is vague, and was with Dublin and Galway also, I suppose quantifying the results of him being around the lads will be hard too.
