Best of luck to Wexford on Sunday, if we get up to 1A this is a great achievement."

Same 15 that started 2 weeks ago and Rowley back on the bench along with CBD…. Clare have rotated a small bit, notable names… Hogan and Leen in full back line, Malone and Mcinerney at 5 and 6, relatively inexperienced half forward line but had heard Stritch and Jack ONeill have impressed in both preseason and the league, Meehan Duggan and David Reidy full forward line, couple of big names on the bench - Conlon Fitzgerald, two Galvins, Rodgers and Shanagher

No Eoin Whelan or Cian Byrne in the squad but CBD and Seán Rowley are listed on the bench

Think our named starting team has just been whatever team actually ended up starting the last day so could maybe be a few changes made

Replying To Viking66:  "As in explosive and exciting? Rory O'Connor out by himself when he is in the mood. Cathal Dunbar when he was u21. Rory McCarthy, but he also played everywhere he was so good. Mogie. Gary Moore maybe too. Barry Lambert sometimes did things that would make you think wow as well.
Inspirational forwards? Along with Rory O'Connor, Lee Chin, Conor Mcdonald when he was younger, Martin Storey. Liked watching Rory Jacob hurl too, probably the cleverest Wexford forward I ever saw, with and without the ball. Never knew what he was up to, sometimes watched what he was doing when the ball wasn't anywhere near him.
Inspirational backs? Liam Dunne, Skippy Ruth, Matthew O'Hanlon, Liam Ryan. Darragh Ryan was excellent to watch hurling too, shouldve played way longer.
Overall though its hard to say, but you would do alot of travelling around the country before you would find a hurler like Damien Reck."
I agree Barry Lambert was class but he had a strange career. When you mention Gary Moore I have to mention Jack guiney. He was an absolutely incredible talent. If he'd the attitude of Lee chin I'd say he would have been an all time great.

I'll have a go but this is hard

Fitzy
Rossi
D Ryan
Jippo
D reck
Liam Dunne
Richie kehoe (criminally underrated)
Fenlon
Larry O
Storey
Chin
ROC
R Jacob
Mac
Mogie

I've left out

Dee who was amazing but I chose mogie instead
Morris who was outrageously consistent
Rory Mac was magical but was hit and miss
Codd who was my favourite player for years
Matt who was a collosal leader
Skippy unlucky too
David Redmond another one who always delivered
Gizzy another one

All in all I've been very fortunate to see some fantastic Wexford players, many of whom gave us great days but never really got the rewards

Jack Guiney was very talented, but not explosive really. And wasn't around long enough to be inspirational. So didnt really fit in either category. He had the potential to be an all time great for sure. Sadly for us he never fulfilled that potential.
Barry Lambert was incredibly unlucky with injuries, as was Moore.
Richie Kehoe was very solid ok, and inspirational for your club.

That's absolutely class.

This is the type of stuff I'm talking about when people refer to hurling as sport. It is so much more.

Galway look like the team to beat in Leinster so far, haven't been impressed by Kilkenny

Don't think there'll be that much of a gap in quality between the best team in Leinster and the worst team this year
