Hard to know what will happen up in Ballycran.
With a very young and inexperienced squad and our poor record against the so called weaker teams we enter unknown territory.
Down may cause us some problems and on home soil and local support will I am sure give it their best shot.
Seems likely that Rossi will play the team that finished against Antrim.. that would include Damien Reck, the two Codds, Jack Redmond andCBD.
It's a game that is vital to win so as to give us some momentum before the Carlow game and create confidence in the new lads before we take on Clare and Dublin in a few weeks time.
Long journey for the lads and let's hope we can bag the two points.
I'm not expecting a runaway victory but I think we may have enough to get us over the line.
Verdict-- Wexford to win by 6 points.

Really worrying for Wexford to see Good Counsel College getting completely hammered by St. Kieran's.
Seem to be way off Kilkenny at this level, Kilkenny CBS winning the other semi too.
Alarming? Or over reaction?

GCC beat Kilkenny CBS already in this years Senior A competition, but were missing some of their better lads yesterday, and just played really poorly, looked beaten before they started. I watched the game.
At the same time this years Kierans Senior A team, as in 6th year down, are very good, better than Counsels. This years Counsel Junior A team, 4th year down, beat Kierans pretty comfortably. Kierans 1st year team better than Counsels.
Peters 1st and 2nd year teams better than Counsels, and Peters 1st years as good as Kierans. 2nd years might not be far off Kierans either.
Marys CBS Enniscorthy also beat Kierans in Junior A, Kierans Junior As never made it past the group stages.
As regards Wexford hurlers the Counsel Junior A team is majority Wexford, so that bodes well for us, as it does when Peters and Mary's have good teams at any age group.
At the end of the day its schools hurling, so depends which school has the better hurlers in each year. And at that age it also depends who just plays well on the day.

Game might be moved to Liatroim GAA near Castlewellan subject to a pitch inspection tomorrow.

The two suspended players wouldn't have helped Good Counsel either

Also saw that one of Waterford's Minor All-Ireland winners was starting for Kieran's, they're something of a super school who are strong at the expense of other schools

Also had Brian Dowling over them, he's been very impressive with Kildare, don't know why he doesn't really seem to be on the Kilkenny radar

Kierans will be very strong this year, and fairly strong next year. At the same time you can never rule out CBS beating them, games between the 2 schools often take on a life of their own.

Kilkenny CBS never seem to fear them, think some of the Wexford schools have a bit of a fear factor when it comes to Kieran's (Like we used to have with Kilkenny at inter-county level)

Unwise to read to much into one game anyway, suppose Peter's had a disappoint enough Senior team this year but at least there were three Wexford schools hurling in Senior A, that has to be the minimum going forward (FCJ in Senior A next year?), Good Counsel's results outside of the two Kieran's games weren't that bad

Hope we see a few changes to the team that was named, no Chin on the bench, no Niall Murphy or CBD in the squad, Darragh Kehoe back in though

Surprised not more changes to Wexford team. Suppose trying to build momentum. Interesting to see how Dempsey goes wing back. Hopefully Darren Codd will get the full game. Would like to see Eoin Whelan on, want to see what he can offer

Extremely worrying. Juniors were also hammered by KK CBS in Leinster final.

No. They beat Kilkenny CBS and the other Kilkenny team in Senior A.

The Juniors gave Kierans a bit of a beating in Junior A and knocked them out.

If you look at it, it's the exact same XV that was named last week bar Philip Dempsey coming in for Niall Murphy who isn't in the squad at all (Must be injured so had to name someone to start in place of him). Cian Byrne came in for Darren Codd last week and I think there will probably be a few changes made to that team if I were to hazard a guess

To be fair I think giving lads a chance means a run of games. For Dublin and Clare we'll see something closer to championship 15 I'd imagine
