Replying To 32_4_1:  "Kk fans persist with this, "keep it up, and you'll see" attitude to others, who think Kk have no chance.

This forced "shrewdness" will be in vein. Whatever about Tipp, Kk simply aren't near Corks level. Kk will literally be embarrassed against Cork, if they manage to overcome Tipp.

I'm not telling you anything the whole country can't already see. Cork are simply operating on a completely different sphere, nevermind level, to Kk. That's the harsh reality!

At the end of the day, it generally goes in cycles with the big 3, Tipp and Kks day will come again. But right now, we're on the brink of Cork returning after a 20 year drought.

Not being funny, but they'll dominate for a while, it will take the others time to catch up. No Cork fan would admit it, but deep down, over the next decade, the goal is to overturn KKs 36 All Irelands. And return to their traditional spot as hurlings most successful team. That hurts them. For most of hurlings history, Cork were always number one!

Whether they can kick on and do it is yet to be seen. From watching club games in Kk, Tipp and Cork, the Cork players are a long way ahead technically, including underage talent! As I said before, the others need to change their structures to compete tbh!

The technical level Cork are now starting to operate at, and if they win the All Ireland and kick on further, is simply different. This isn't wumming, simply the reality of where we are right now!"
This is an off the wall post.

There's absolutely no chance of Cork overturning kks all Irelands in the next decade.

Also Kilkenny are much further down their development road than Tipp are.

All this talk is suiting Kilkenny.

Do you really think kk or Tipp. Would give Cork all that space that they got yesterday. Every ball that went in to the cork forwards. The cork forward were out in front . That is not going to happen against kk or Tipp."
Cork never got out of second gear ffs!

Why can't Cork overturn it? No one on their level in the foreseeable future. Win one All Ireland, and a few will follow!

Brilliant win for Tipp, I wasn't much of a hurling fan but I think I am now, great final in store.

well done to tipp well deserved. cant wait for two weeks time. just wondering will mc carthy's two yellows mean he misses out for the final in two weeks? he has a bright future ahead either way, great hurler.

Was the final score on RTE correct? I thought there was 2 points in it at the end?

we were discussing it and we think that someone in croke park may have marked the final tipp point that was waved wide at 70 mins and whoever's in charge of the scoreboard must have put the point up anyways. massive controversy, game was too close for these mistakes to be happening, this has to be looked at

That last Tipp point was definitely waved wide, KK might have had time to go for 2 points to level it up instead of the goal they thought they needed. Pleased to see Tipp do it though, 0-30 should've been enough to win but KK (like Limerick) are finding out that goals win games. Some uncharacteristically bad errors at the back for the Cats today,

It's one thing for RTE to get it wrong but was it wrong on the scoreboard in the stadium also? If that's the case it's far bigger cock up as kk seemed to be looking to work a goal when they might just have had enough time to pop two points. Depends on winning puck out etc I know but a better chance of getting two points than one goal !

Delighted to see Tipp do it and they deserved it (although the scoreboard controversy was unfortunate and might have been the difference)
I think they will give Cork a much tougher game than Kilkenny would and all the pressure is going to be on Cork.

Look it, this is not a dig on Leinster hurling, but regardless of whether or not Munster teams are better it's not helping Leinster teams and especially Kilkenny to come into the AI series without the kind tough games that Munster teams are getting.
And the gap is growing

Regardless of who wins the AI next year Munster is going to be a tougher than ever.

He will miss out as he was already sent off earlier in the championship

How is the gap growing? Dublin were full value of there win over Limerick and were never going to reach that level again against cork unfortunately..
Hopefully the rate of Munster hurlers diving will be cut out next year. McCarthy going down today holding his head was shocking to see again

Seems likely that KK realised years ago that goals win games.......don't you think?

Not sure but if he does miss out it's going to be very tough on the young fella..the fact it's a 2nd sending off might be a problem..2nd yellow was probably harsh but he had no hope of getting ball and made it easy for ref..I hope he gets to play unit..
A bigger question for me is how they missed the deegan incident, specially linesman who was next to it..for me that was a red not a 2nd yellow..
If scoreboard in croke park said it was a 3 point lead then an explanation is needed..kk had chances to put ball over but were going for what they thought was needed,a goal..if kk had got a goal and won by a point according to official score then how was it going to be explained??
Official score given as 4-20 to 30 points..
