Replying To Buachaillbui:  "Tipp must lose by 5 and then cork/lim match a draw for them to miss out"
Yes, I missed that bit out. But the point of my reply was, there is no way Cahil will rest players, with there being a chance could not qualify for the All-Ireland Championship.

Is it true that prunty gleeson and barron are "injured" and unavailable for tomorrow?

Replying To tiobraid:  "Absolute rubbish. No need for it at all. There's two sides to it too though…some managers are going to name dummy teams anyway. Prunty for Waterford apparently has surgery on the horizon and was never going to play anyway. Yet the rule they bring in is to make teams name their teams earlier instead of bringing in something to discourage them naming any old team"
The English Premier League, a competition that is watched live globally; do not name their teams until 1 hour before kick-off, after the team sheets have been given to the ref. There is hardly ever any changes made, except in the very rare occasion when a player injures himself warming up. Why can't the GAA do the same?

Replying To tiobraid:  "A load of dummy team ms named for Sunday including my own county. GAA need to look at this. If a player is named to start and doesn't he shouldn't be allowed come on either. I'll be shocked if most teams haven't at least two changes before throw in"
Yes and totally disrespectful to the people they collect money from through raffles, supporter clubs. programs, entry etc. Waterford would not name a team until the day after if the could get away with it. At least two of the named team for Sunday were never going to play.

Haven't heard that suggestion before but def makes sense especially given everything is gone or going online. Just have the teams named online the hour before. 100% think that's the way to go

I wouldn't believe any rumours coming from Waterford til I see the team at throw in. Anything is possible with Davy

Well this is it. You can chop and change when the game is won. You can't let up or give the opposition a sniff.

Very happy to say that Dublin are a far better team than I thought. Galway look like a team who haven't came out of the dressing room yet. Dublin backs completely on top

Cracking game between galway and Dublin,, looking forward to the final now.

On another note it's time for the rté to give ger canning the p45. Terrible commentator,, brilliant comeback for galway but he could barely get it together to raise his voice. He sounded very bored tbh.

Sadly Hawkeye failed and we end up with a draw with a technology failure in a game with a lot riding on it. For the record a draw is a fair result and best of luck to Galway in the final.

Some cracking games in Leinster. If this was happening in Munster we wouldn't hear the end of it.

Great stuff.

Could they not have shown the last 10mins of Wex/Kil since there was a lot at stake instead of talking. Ridiculous we couldn't watch it but the panelists were.

It was that kind of a game tbf to him.
You'll have to go the Endo day to avoid the commentary..

Fair play to Wexford. Sounds like it was a cracking game. It took real character to come back to win it after the last Kilkenny goal.

According to rte.ie, if Galway, Kilkenny and Dublin had finished level on 7 points each, then it would have been score difference in the games between them that would have been used as a tiebreaker, and not overall scoring difference. When this change come in?

Spot on, you would think only Munster counted. Up Wexford.
