Jaysis I'd take that draw now. Monaghan would love to get Kerry.

Leave us alone. Ye did enough damage to our minors yesterday lol.

The draw will be interesting tomorrow morn. Cork can't get Kerry and I hope they don't get Dublin either as I feel that will damage their renewed confidence. Surely on the law of averages they can't draw the Dubs as they met in last years quarter final and the last time of the quarter final groups they were with Dublin too. Also the northern counties seem to draw each other alot (albeit they are the most dominant province with 4 of the last 8.),,Looking forward to a real heavyweight battle today in Connaught. Just a pity it'll be all over in a few weeks. It feels like binging out and keeping none for later. Spoilt at minute with club football on Friday night then county on Sunday.

Some people are expecting Dublin v Tyrone. My lottery draw selection: Derry v Cork Dublin v Galway/Mayo Kerry v Tyrone Armagh v Monaghan legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 8787 - 25/06/2023 12:55:02 2489066 Link 1 |
Galway and Mayo are better then some of the teams that made the Quarter finals but that's the luck of the draw FoolsGold (Cavan) - Posts: 2876 - 25/06/2023 12:58:14 2489068 Link 0 |
I think Cork can draw Kerry. Why not?

At least one mistake there: Cork can meet Kerry.

Live on Sunday game tonight, then that would do away with conspiracy theories.

Cork have had great run, and will be happy as at one point were not far away from not competing in all Ireland competition. I don't think they will fear anyone, and are playing with confidence. Team is very fit, Hurley will be back, and Powter is fit and an all star candidate!Tyrone looked strong yesterday, and those 2 Canavans will be a handful for any defense! So what?

No repeat pairings allowed from the group stages. Therefore Cork can't play Kerry, Armagh can't play Tyrone etc.

Not so. At the quarter-final stage the four group winners will meet the preliminary quarter-final victors, subject to the avoidance of repeat provincial final pairings and where possible repeat pairings from Round One. Aibrean (Kerry) - Posts: 335 - 25/06/2023 14:58:18 2489120 Link 0 |
Cork are a good team and always very hard to beat on PUC. Did brilliant aswell v Mayo in Limerick. Croke park will be a different test for them and hope the fans get behind them and travel in big numbers to follow them. Vocal support can be the difference in a tight game Great to see the rebels back though! CiarraiMick (Dublin) - Posts: 3914 - 25/06/2023 14:59:25 2489121 Link 0 |
