Just leaving Cork after 9 hours in the city. Disappointed with the 1 point loss. Cork were the best opposition supporters I have come across in a long time. No major gloating and teaseing of the opposition supporters. Very respectful and chatty. Best of luck in the quarter final. To the Roscommon players: Keep the heads up. Say, a kick across 'own 45 & 65' to midfield, now the team can just hand pass their way to beyond the attacking 45 like today. The kick requirement just breaks up all the hand passing, and when playing the ball back/recycling to behind their own 45, one new kick is needed again (not too much to ask). The team would therefore need players down field to receive the 15-20 metres kick, so it weakens the blanket defence too.
