Replying To CTGAA10:  "Think limerick are favorites on what they have done in last 3-4 years..if it's on what we,ve seen so far this is going to be a very close match..I tipped Clare to be one of the 3 out of munster, specially with Duggar and o donnell back to full fitness..I'm looking forward to seeing if Hayes keeps going on the upward trend..will he pick up gillane or will Flanagan get the job??mcinerney on hego is huge,if hego stays hurling and gets 4 or more points limerick won't be beaten..I'm expecting a huge game from Tom morrissey..I think mike Casey has a handle on Dugan..I'm not sure what what happens with Kelly,no matter who marks him he is going to score..also o donnell might get more space than last day which might be a problem..big calls to be made as regards o neill,Flanagan,Hayes and mulcahy, who plays where??im expecting a huge physical battle with limerick just getting over the line..I hope we won't be talking about s sending off or something controversial, that might ruin the game.."
I hope we are all talking about the hurling too not controversies John Keenan is a good referee who leases it go a bit, but both sides will going hell for leather so he will have to keep a firm grip on it.

Limerick so experienced now wont do panic if Clare concede goals I cant see Clare winning but a game thats very hard to call.

So I expect a great game all about hurling

No no. Unfortunately due to my own stupidity I will be watching it in an Irish bar in Playa Blanca Lanzarote.

It's a game that could take on a life of its on. Derby and all. Its hard to see Limerick being beaten if they play up to scratch. They can hurt you in alot of different ways but the flip side of that is Clare have serious scoring potential that will relish the challenge.
I still have my doubts about the Clare fullback line and if Limerick get ontop there then it's curtains. 2 goals and Limerick won't be beaten. Midfield will be interesting with the seasoned Limerick duo up against Taylor and Malone. Malone hasn't played well this year yet. Taylor is decent and has a great turn of foot but he's loose and prone to the odd error. It ll be like any final, whomever makes the least amount of mistakes will win. Limericks bench could swing it. Id fancy whomever loses to be in serious trouble because they ll have left everything on the field and it ll be hard to raise their game again although it would be Wexford and Wexford aren't great

You are guaranteed a SF or a QF at the very least to make up for it. Could've been worse. If you had brought the kids to Oz it would've been the middle of the night!

Might not be Wexford. Depends which Wexford turns up for the preliminary QF. One thing is for sure compared to the last 5 QFs or SF we reached the lads should be alot fresher this year if we overcome Antrim or Kerry. Certainly the losers of Clare and Limerick will be red hot favourites......

After that epic game on Sunday described by most as one of all time great Munster finals its going to be hard to refocus now for winners of Wexford/Kerry.

You would expect it to be Wexford and we have always found it hard to beat them it will I imagine be in Cork which is a pity crowd may not travel like last time.

Back to Sunday its obviously very disappointing but we have played Limerick in 4 Hours of hurling in League & Championship with only 3 points separating teams gap definitely very close now we dis not get enough return from our forward line bar TK and Fitz Tony Kelly surely one of all time greats what a display again hope he is not hurt for next game.

Was Aron Shanagher hurt he would surely have been worth 20+ Minutes as Peter Duggan wasn't getting much change from Limerick full back line only Meehan made any difference as Sub

Settle down lads, sensible teams and management only concentrate on the next game.

Would be great that! Not running down the bookies to ask them for odds on it though!!!

Think that's our biggest problem down the years when we beat them we think we have the all ireland won hard to change the mind set.

Small problem there- at least for this year. Wexford can only meet Kilkenny at the All Ireland Semi stage.

Even the best are beaten eventually. Very few can sustain it year on year. Hard to see past them at the minute but the injury to Lynch has brought them back a bit closer to the pack. If they were unlucky to lose a couple of the big names for a season then who knows what could happen. Even the great Kk and Dublin teams eventually came back to the pack.
Although Limerick are still very young. I was shocked to see that Hannon is still only 29!!

If for example Cork and Wex come through the next 2 rounds could Wex not meet Limerick in that scenario at the s/f stage?

No. If Wexford and Cork get to and win the QFs we will likely meet Limerick in a SF. And if we somehow won that we could meet KK in a final.

Only just too. Think he was on the 2015 AI U21 winning team.

With respects Viking, I think that if Cork come through the quarter Final they will play us as we played them in reverse circumstances-as in we were third in Munster and they were Champs- in 2018.

You only played Cork as Clare couldn't meet Cork again as they had played in the Munster Final. So Clare played Galway.
Clare were desperately close that year, only losing the MF by 2 points and the replay in the AISF by 1 point, a game that I thought at the time stood to you in the final.
