Replying To updafaughs:  "The aim for Faughs next year would be to squeeze in to sixth place in the league which is realistic given the lack of lads on county panel. Then hopefully get 3rd place in championship group depending on the draw. But could very easily be in relegation groups in both. Exciting times for the club though with the youth coming through"

I'd be surprised if they went back down. They are good enough to pick up a few wins here and there and as previous poster said arent far off a few teams already up there. Blayney seem to have alot of potential coming through and they seem to be managing it fairly well. Be interesting to see can they finally win another senior championship surely that's there aim at least in the next decade.

Well done to Magheracloone on the win today, very good first season back in senior for them winning the league and a championship semi final appearance. Hopefully sets them up for an even better run next year.

It's been said multiple times but delaying the league finals until after championship is a disaster. Scotstown understandably resting starters takes away from the competition as a whole. Would be so much better playing it before the start of the championship.

Your league is a mere afterthought. It exists to prop up a championship your county board think is helping your county outfit. For that reason, you've the most uncompetitive championship in Ulster. The delusions of grandeur around the county team is killing the club game in Monaghan.

Realistically blaney are miles off most senior teams will struggle to stay up only up because Carrick had an eye on Ulster
