Why does Monaghan GAA not supply an online streaming service? So many county's show their championship games for their fans. Armagh, Tyrone, Cavan are just a few off the top of my head!
Would be a brilliant service for people abroad or even elderly people who can't make it out especially in bad weather this time of year.
Armagh TV is 100£ a year for all matches. It definitely generates revenue for the county board also which I'm surprised monaghan aren't jumping at!" Something to do with gate receipts I would imagine. Given there's no overly nationwide interest in our championship, providing an online stream wouldn't make sense.

Good quality stream of a game is expensive but would agree that it could be a potential revenue stream for the county board. Armagh would be a bigger county too population wise so probably more subscriptions being paid than the likes of Monaghan would get.
We seem to be behind counties on some of the basics like the quality of social media and coverage of our games, likes of Louth over the weekend had loads of post match videos, reports, graphics compared to our channels - not surprising we haven't ventured into streaming.

It can only be a good thing if Scotstown are beaten and perhaps not make the final. They have been every one since 2013. Not good for football and a new lease of life is needed for the senior championship. In saying that they'll probably win it again.

Between injured players and age getting to them the championship is as open as it's been in years. My bet is on Clontibret to surprise many again

Intermediate looks fascinating, Any one of Carrick, Donaghmoyne, Killlany and Blaney could win it. Typical Harps to lie down when it came tot he acid test. Tyholand survive again, interesting to see if drumhowan can survive or will it be another yr of the 2 promoted teams going down.
Junior looks like more straightforward. Emyvale will have to get over eire og to get to the final. Any of the other 4 teams on the other side could make it, isn't much between Seans, Currin, Aghabog, Blackhill.
Coming into the business end of the season now and I am sure Gabriel will be keeping eyes peeled for men to stand up with big performance's to put up hands for selection. Has there been any standout players so far ? I've heard young mc manus in harps, Hanratty, murphy, mc ginnity from blaney and O gorman from Latton have been impressive. Possibly the Mc kenna lad from emyvale has been hitting big scores in Junior." Typical harps to lie down? When has this harps team lay down before? They just run into an on form Anthony Marron which happens I football.

Write them off as you wish but they have blooded some serious young talent … their championship starts the next day
Knockout football is where thrive. You would be a brave man to bet against them

Noticed a lot of counties also interviewing a player or manager from each team after senior/intermediate and junior championship games which are always a good listen.
Agreed regarding the intermediate championship there was no clear announcement from them who was through and who wasn't.
Hopefully this is something Monaghan Gaa look on improving on aswell as getting more games streamed or atleast decent highlights of them all.

There was a good explainer on how teams tied were separated that Ballybay Tweeted. But still as of yet the Monaghan Website hasn't been updated regarding knockout fixtures. Louth are miles ahead of us in promotion but I think a lot of that is voluntary through a third party.
