This is going to be a cracker of of a weekend . Will Tubberclair finally get over the line or will Shandonagh get back up if it's a free flowing game I think Tubberclair will win it. I think Shandonagh will get over the line in a cagey defensive game.

The downs for me will win but it won't be anything like the group game. Can kinnegad keep the game close for 45/50min. If they can it will obviously pose questions that the downs haven't faced much this season.

Replying To A_Chairde:  "I tnink all the chat of the Downs having the title in the bag is totally disrespectful to Kinnegad. Kinnegad have transformed and The Downs will have to be at there best. This is a county final and anything goes. Kinnegad have the best coach in the county in Jack cooney. He will have a plan to curb Luke. I think thats where the game will be won and lost. If he scores another 1 - 10 the Downs will surely win but if hes kept to 4 - 5 pointsKinnegad have a great chance. Will Mitchell be ok to play, looked a bad injury."
Don't fall for the nonsense - the Leinster chat is being peddled by one source only on this forum.
Having been involved in club management at various levels in championship winning sides, there isn't a club in the country that would speculate about a provincial run before a county final is played.
I'm going for:
Intermediate: Tubberclair
Minor football: Shamrocks
Senior football: The Downs

I think it's the Ulster champions that The Downs have in the Semi final…

Win westmeath first. It is bit arrogant to presume downs beat munster champions could be strong kerry or cork team

There is no other play in Ireland that is preparing for a County Final on Sunday doing an intense gym workout on the Friday. Luke Loughlin's intense workout routine is the secret to his performances on the field. Luke's obsession with self improvement sets him apart from the rest. He has single handedly brought The Downs to the next level. Shane Donoghue saying the players have been living in the gym since last year. People were laughing at me when I was saying The Downs are looking at a Leinster title.

That's only if the Ulster champions beat the Connacht champions though.
All Ireland final…

Tomorrow's minor football final moved to Loman's with a 1215pm throw in. If you're going to both minor and senior finals, buy your ticket online to avoid paying a fiver into minor game. Senior final ticket valid for both. You're welcome !

Excellent intermediate final in tough underfoot conditions, could have gone either way, Taylor Slevin kicked a fantastic two pointer in injury time to win it for Tubberclair, Matthew Whittaker, Eoghan McCabe and Keelan Connell all influential for winners. Shandonagh unlucky in ways but didn't do enough with breeze in first half. Adam Treanor and Daniel Scahill their best

Would be writing off a cork team or potentially strong kerry team in semi final ridiculous talk.

Entertaining Intermediate Final yesterday; Tubberclair were probably slightly the better team. Shandonagh may regret not playing more football with the wind when they probably needed to build a lead going into the second half. The winner was a fine effort; Tubberclair meet Mullinavat now which interestingly is fixed for The Downs. Can clubs host in their home venue?

The way that works to my understanding is the county board nominate certain venues that can be used for Leinster Championship.
Tubberclair should be named you'd imagine.

Club grounds have to meet certain criteria to host Leinster games, Tubberclair may not be suitable?

Minor final was an enjoyable watch , despite the tough conditions. Shamrocks deserved the win, but The Downs were never out of it. Some promising players on both sides. Ormsby the difference really - he caught some great ball, and carried brilliantly.

When you pay €15 for stream of county final you'd think they would have commentary microphone working. Buddha sounds grand but there is a brutal banging noise coming from Ray Gavin's microphone when he speaks. Very hard to listen to.

The Downs were actually there for the taking but had more composure ultimately in the end.

Commentator seemed too close to microphone based on what I was listening to. You'd imagine that could be easily sorted for tomorrow's replay.
