Not sure sickening summarises for me First half we were useless Great response in second half Really entertaining game .. Yes we lost but we get a second go. Hopefully Brambrick,Hulton and and Ruth will see some Talteann cup action. Agree sickening to lose it the way we did but how poor were we in the first half?? We had posters on here after the Wicklow game saying the result didn't matter as it was all about the Tailteann Cup, well by jesus what was served up in that first half was atrocious. All through the game the silly mistakes were unbelievable. Players giving away frees for double bounce, dropping the ball when under no pressure, giving up simple possession which led to their goal in extra time.... it was terrible Now the 2nd half was much improved & they showed some fight to get back into the game & we actually went ahead near the end. However you can't expect to win when you concede 6 goals, it was like a hurling score. They cut through us so easily & they are in Div 4. Imagine what a Down or Cavan would do. Finally all through the league I highlighted how poor we are at taking goal chances & happened again today. In the 2nd half one player had 2 chances to score a goal in the one move & missed both. Hopefully we get a few bodies back as we were missing 5 starters which is a big blow.
