Replying To greenfan:  "That draw can't happen. Teams who lost in round 2a will be in the same pot"
Its Meath, Monaghan and Dublin/Cavan isn't it?

Would it be fairer to have 1 pot of 8 sides? All teams with 1 win and 1 loss should really be in 1pot surely? Although I understand it's a two pot draw, I don't really understand the justification for two pots.

Cannot meet Kerry. So it is Meath, Cork or Cavan/Dublin

Donegal peaking too soon and Kerry coming good at the right time. Donegal support very quiet now. Kerry playing B team all year.

Fair play. Good win over Antrim in fairness. Semi final of Tailteann no mean feat.....

Last game was a smash and grab with 3 goals. Didn't mean anything. This was purely donegal stopping playing after 45 minutes and Cork having a nothing to lose attitude. Fair play to them. Hopefully the boys turn it around this weekend coming now but hard to see it.

Replying To FootballGuy:  ""Donegal could still win the all ireland but it will be in spite of the management, and not because of them."

Are you for real? Donegal were nowhere near all ireland challengers before this management came in and in 2 years we reached a semi final and a final. This year is still too be decided too. And if Jim and the rest of the management walk away this summer, we won't be near any more all ireland finals. 2012, 2014, 2025 are the only All Ireland finals we have been in, in the last 33 years, can you figure out what was the common denominator in those 3 years were? Poor performance today, for sure. But we aren't out of it yet."
We have different oppinions on it. Your right about the managers we had in the past not being up to it, but i believe the hype around mcguinness is way over the top. He is undoubtedly better than the previous mangers but he lacks in the tactical side of the game. No doubt most will not agree with that but thats my take on it. 2 years ago we played galway in the all ireland semi final and i believe we left it behind us, donegal did not kick one long ball into the gallen to run on to all day. He was voted the best full forward that year and got his all star and we refused to give him quick ball. That to me is crazy tactics. It cost us the game and prob the all ireland that year. Last year in the final we were still playing the old rules, too deep defensively, no kick passing and not going for 2 pointers. But in fairness kerry far the better team on the day. Today i think we only went for one two pointer, i could be wrong, langans kick at the end, prob cost us the game not trying it mire, becausevwe have tge players. Donegal refuse to kick quick ball in, so everything is running and hand passing. They are hobbling themselves doing this in my oppinion. You can either hand pass the ball or kick pass the ball in gaeluc football, and we refuse on the most part to kick it. So donegal need to be near on perfect every day with the running, hand passing game to win. If they are off it at all they will slip up, as in today. Its the equivalant of trying to win the world heavyweight title, using only your jab and keeping the other hand behind your back. Its crazy stuff. But listen we wont fall out over it!! Because at the minute im that annoyed with them i gave myself a headach!! Good luck to ya and i hope we're all celebrating next week.

Sorry you are right. Obviously Cork are through to QF. Ant play Kerry but Monaghan in Clones would be interesting
