Replying To dgcrusader:  "Shaun Patton; Finnbarr Roarty, Brendan McCole, Peadar Mogan; Ryan McHugh, Stephen McMenamin, Ciarán Moore; Ciarán Thompson, Michael Langan; Dáire Ó Baoill, Conor O'Donnell, Shane O'Donnell; Patrick McBrearty, Michael Murphy, Oisín Gallen.

Subs: Gavin Mulreany, Mark Curran, Odhran McFadden Ferry, Odhrán Doherty, Aaron Doherty, Eoin McHugh, Jason McGee, Jamie Brennan, Hugh McFadden, Niall O'Donnell, Caolan McGonagle.

Good squad, we have more or less everyone fit bar Eoghan Ban. I reckon McGee and/or McGonagle to come into the team as it's lacking a small bit of height. Best wishes to the team and management and to everyone travelling down to Clones tomorrow, take care and Up Donegal!"
Hoping McGonagle is fit enough to start. He makes such a difference when he's at number 6. One of them players that you don't realise how important he is until he misses a few games.

Best of luck to team and Management tomorrow. We still owe Armagh plenty for 99 through the noughties. In my head all them matches have merged into one long depressing defeat that lasted for 10 years. 3 Ulster final defeats, all Ireland semi final and a two replay defeats and plenty sending offs . Not good memories.....

Up donegal

Best of luck to Jim and the lads tomorrow, expecting Jim to deliver ulster title no 12 tomorrow evening after another epic with Armagh.

The hours are ticking down to tomorrow's big show down. What an exciting weekend ahead between tomorrow and the most anticipated Leinster final in years. The provincials are well and truly alive and well. Cannot be too confident about tomorrow. Both teams are incredibly well drilled with sharp minds on both set ups. I do think we have the edge in the forwards but Armagh have plenty of players to pick off scores and have such a strong bench where you would give them the advantage. I'm hoping we can shade it but it's a tough game to call. I was confident we'd win last year's Ulster final but definitely not the case this year. As always best of luck to Jim and the lads and of course safe travels to all.

This should be a tactical masterpiece, won't be surprised if it goes to extra time and penalties. I hope I am wrong but I can't see past Armagh...

Replying To Lockjaw:  "Yeah it would be great to see more of our senior clubs being in with a realistic chance of winning the championship. The competition at senior level in Tyrone is fierce and it can only be good for the health of the game overall. Four Masters have really put in massive work at underage level. The key now will be to ensure that translates to senior. Not always an easy thing to do with young people moving away, player drop out etc."
are they f**k alive and well, apart from Dublins slip up they all going as expected

Massive win for Donegal. McGuinness one of all time great managers. Only lost one ulster game in 21

You were nearly right and but for a desperate bad call by the referee the game would probably have gone to penalties…. It will take a good side to beat either of these 2 teams

Tough to lose three Ulster Finals in a row so narrowly each time but they do have Sam Maguire.

We are genuinely privileged to watch Michael Murphy. What a player, his performance today was unreal. Such a class act off the field as well, always talks in interviews about doing it for the people of Donegal. Brought his young club mate up with him to lift the cup after the game as well.

Typical of your nonsensical ramblings, a classic match where the referee also played a brilliant role, no controversy here,

Fair play donegal. That is a win to saviour. I really thought they were done when they didn't close it out in normal time. Donegal played some exceptional football in the first half. They went hard after raffertys kickout and it worked. Near the end of the half seemed to fatigue a little and armagh got right back into it. Patton wasn't getting his kickouts away either.

As has been the case against down and monaghan the scoring rate dried up a good bit as the second half progressed. The goal was crucial as was armagh not getting at least one of their chances. Armagh were really dominating the kickouts with rafferty doing some great fetching.

Donegal should have held on though. They had chances to close it out and didn't, some of initial substitutions did not work and it wasn't a surprise they didn't feature in et.
I think pretty much everyone suspected armagh would win in et and it looked that way. The goal was obviously so important as was niall o'donnell. He has that bit of class and was the only donegal player to score from play in et and it was one off either foot.

It was great to see michael murphy do so well. The armagh supporters around me fair don't like him. Some of their comments being quite over the top. It was not great being so completely outnumbered and surrounded by armagh supported in the mcgrane stand. Why they don't section it to have the few donegal season ticket holders that were in the stand seated together I don't know.

Hopefully the players enjoy it for a few days and they should and we'll think about the group stage another time.

Great game yesterday nerve-wracking day . Must say fantastic atmosphere between two outstanding teams. Great to see murphy perform like that he's rolling back the years. Happy for niall o donnell. Hopefully it's the boost that will kick-start his year. Armagh are definitely in the running for sam if they get rian back. Gallen showed what a talent he is. Roll on tyrone
