You'd be sickened being on one of the teams up for relegation, training and training away with no game in sight, id say numbers and morale are fairly bad.
Small wonder the smaller clubs are struggling to retain players with the disrespect they are shown, there is about 20 pitches that dont have an adult game this weekend, surely one or two of them could be played off.

That will be 4 weeks since the four teams last played. I understand storm Amy postponed one of the games last weekend but how is it taking this long to wrap this up. Serious lack of respect for the 4 teams involved."
If Carrick loose the senior relegation match, those games won't need to be played as Carrick's 2nd will go Junior. That's why there's a delay.

3 teams to go down out of the 4 involved so the delay is affecting more than just Carrick

Exactly, play the other game and be done with it as the winner will have another game. Kiltubrid -Marys could easily be fixed for Sunday depending on tomorrow's result, no one that plays tomorrow can then play for their inters so what's the hold up, so that they don't miss the end of year session Saturday?? They've nothing to celebrate.

Leitrim Gaa are streaming it as far as I know. Think Ballinamore will win replay, just think Fenagh are missing something to get over this semi final block they have, hoping I'm wrong though. We'll see what Allen Gaels are made of tomorrow too as Annaduff will give them a huge test, think they should edge it but tomorrow will tell a lot about them. Other game is a toss up, Drumkeerin to win narrowly.

And do you think that would work with 2 semi finals & a final? The two winners of the semi finals are safe..... who are you going to relegate then?

So one team goes down to Junior basically. So what do you think will happen if Carrick seniors are relegated?

If you read the posts on ere you would see that 3 teams are going down. The 2 that loose the semifinals and the looser of the final. It not that hard to understand. And carrick won there game today so semifinals can now be played

3 teams from the 4 that are in the relegation semis go down. The 2 that lose the semi finals go down plus the loser of the final. So basically you have to win 2 games in the relegation series to stay up.

Flip of a coin between Kiltubrid and Gortlettragh as to who goes down/stays up, nothing between them on any given day and expect them to account for st Mary's 2nd team and Ballinaglera.

Junior A will be very competitive next year

Was at the intermediate semi final in drumshabo today, Drumkeerin were very unlucky I thought by far the better team some very questionable decisions made against them. Can't see Dromahair putting up too much of a fight against annaduff or Allen Gaels they are very vulnerable at the back

That makes no sense at all... why bother playing a 'relegation' final so if that's the case? The two loosers of the semifinal go into a final! Show me exactly where it states that 3 out of 4 go down to Junior A.

It doesn't make any sense, but I'm assuming what he meant was the two losers of the semi-finals are gone and then the winners of the semi-finals play-off, with the loser of that also going down. So only the team that wins two games stays up. The other 3 go down.

It was set out last year that both the Senior and Intermediate Championships would each consist of 8 teams. The Senior Championship was sorted out last year, with 3 teams relegated. This year, it's the Intermediate turn. Both losers of the relegation semi-finals will go down, along with the loser of the relegation final. Next year, both the Senior and Intermediate Championships will consist of 8 teams

There's no semi final play off... 4 teams finished lowest out of a division of 10. 2 relegation semi finals and a relegation final are now due to be played. And even if there was 2 semi finals only, that makes 2 teams relegated not 3.
