Replying To Weaternpro:  "Ballinamore back on the road with a win over a poor Aughawillian team, Shane Moran best player on the field this evening. Aughawillian will be delighted that three team aren't been relegated this yr are they be gone. Lucky that Melvin Gaels seem to be going poorly themselves"
I was looking down through the scores over the weekend, what does that say about Ballinamore if Aughawillan are so poor? 4 points is hardly a big beating now in fairness.

I'm presuming Coach Poacher is staying on for the vital 2026 season. I haven't heard anything to suggest he isn't. But if he isn't then there should be a new head coach in situ before the club championship is in gear to afford them the best opportunities to get the best players roaring for Team Leitrim.

Would the great James Glancy of under 20 fame be suitable?? What about Joe Cox who managed our minor team? He's highly renowned as a deep thinker on the game

Go and ask them if they're available. Say it face to face. Come back to us when you've done that. We'll be waiting.

Other counties aren't really laughing at ye, they are only laughing at boxty (something or other) and blatach who are really cringy. I suspect they are related to the eslin fella that was on the go last year. Same mentality

That's a lovely story, you should turn it into a movie, and a musical.

They won't be much addition if they spend 70 minutes on the pitch roaring.

That 70 mins is the optimal time for them to be roaring on the field

Can anyone shed some light on the new Club Championship structure? I am aware Senior & Inter will consist of 8 teams in each.. Anyone know what's happening with Junior A, B & C?

Senior will have 8 teams in a single group. Each team plays 4 games in the group stage. Top 6 go into knockouts and bottom 2 play in relegation final.
1 team relegated to Intermediate.

Intermediate will have 10 teams in a single group. Each team plays 4 games. Top 6 go into knockouts. Bottom 4 teams play relegation semis with losers relegated. Winners of relegation semis play relegation final with the loser relegated.
3 teams total relegated to Junior A.

Junior A will have 10 teams in 2 groups of 5. Like Intermediate 3 teams are relegated to Junior B.

Junior B and C will be played in a similar manner to last year.

The big thing of note is that it's very possible that a clubs first team could be playing Junior B for the 2026 season.

Out from Jack Foley do we know if any other players are travelling or departing the panel for next year?
Or do we know if any if the players that were away this year will return? Pearce Dolan would be the key one in my eyes to partner McNulty at Midfield.

I've seen a fair few Div 1 and 2 League Games - to be honest theyve been poor affairs without County players or players that have gone stateside for a few weeks.

Here's a list of players I've seen that weren't on the panel this year for various reasons but need to be there next year (from what I've seen so far)

Killian Gaffey
Paul Keaney,
Adam Reynolds* (was i hired for most of IC year)

Colm McLoughlin
Fergal McLoughlin
Oisin McLoughlin
Ryan O'Rourke* (injured again but will be back)
Jack Gilheany* (currently injured)

Radek Oberwan
Arek Oberwan
Caleb Duffy
Oran Foley
Thomas Mulvey

Conall Jones (I can't see why he wouldn't be called up)

Darragh Rooney would be another one i'd be doing my best to get back involved.

We could really compete for the Tailteann Cup with these players back on board but an S&C plan for all levels needs to be in action asap.

Personally I wouldn't keep Poacher and co on but it looks like they'll be back for another year.

Maybe we can give Coach Graham a second chance
