That can we beat Laois. It's pretty obvious.

I heard ryan o'rourke played for fenagh the weekend and put up a huge score?
Any truth in it.
If it is, its great to see him back on the field and scoring heavily, after his injury problams,
Makes you wonder if a fit ryan and keith beirne all year for leitrim how things could be different

One rule in football really annoys me and witnessed it time and again its time to define the tackle. Some refs give a free for overcarrying and some give the free against the team with two or three around the ball carrier? Its even gave both ways in the same game sometimes. It's annoying for me nevermind the teams involved, also I think it's time to introduce red cards for neck high tackles follow the rugby tactics if its above the shoulders its dangerous and a red card

Tackle is defined in the Rule book.
It's the Referees that need to standardise their adjudication on it.
Enforcement of the 4 step rule would help greatly.

Himself and the brother are in the top 3 scorers so far in the league. We could have done with both during the year. I'd love to see Fenagh win a county title; the McCormack's will definitely leave no stone unturned to achieve that. They certainly got the best out of Aughawillan when they were managing them. If next year doesn't go to plan and Padraic Davis isn't available, I'd have them in with Leitrim.

you'd wonder could he have played the week before for Leitrim. Does it say something about his relationship with Andy Moran ? when as soon as Leitrim are out he's fit to play and scoring 14 points.

He is fit to play over a month ago but didn't want to play for Leitrim. Makes you wonder.

Of course he could have played with Leitrim. Andy Moran dropping his name all year but Ryan had no intention in togging out for Leitrim.

He's playing for the county, not the manager

I suppose its understandable, Fenagh have a serious chance of winning the senior championship and with the McCormacks on board they might be the final piece of the jigsaw, understandable so Ryan is focusing on the club.

Great to see some rationale thinking here. Leitrim are going nowhere fast whereas Fenagh stand a realistic chance of reaching a county final at least

Yes this is a conversation I have had plenty of times over the last year. It was coached for years that you cannot leave your hands in and encourage to repeatable put them in and out while tackling while recently 3 players can just bear bug a player with no intention to play the ball.

One other rule that really iterates me is been penalised for someone in the D during kickouts. Fair enough if the back is trying to receive a ball in the D or if the forward is trying to interfere/distract the goalie during his kickout. But most often you seen them given when the players are walking out with their backs to the goals and the ball is kicked out way over their heads to the halfway line.. it really doesn't make much sense and I think the referees should use common sense on this.

Glera unbeaten and yet to let in a goal, very impressive in keeping carrigallen to 3 points and beating Dromahaire, looking like the team to beat in division 2 and intermediate championship

I thought the dogs in the street knew that Riordan walked because he was being played out of position and was being asked to do a job he wasn't able to do at club level never mind inter county level, and Ryan's father prevented him from playing this year out of solidarity with Riordan because management were messing Riordan about with playing him out of position and not listening to the guys concerns surrounding this.

Expecting a forward to try and play at wing back imshould not be a huge leap for a modern day footballer. I don't think Riordan is in the top 8 forwards in the county. So trying to get your best players on the pitch makes sense. A player has every right to walk away from a panel if he feels he is not getting a fair crack of the whip. (Personally I thought he was getting more than a fair go.) It is unfortunate that he had to bring his brother with him if that is the case.

They aren't brothers. Cousins.
