Galway wasn't rested coming into that game." 1 week is plenty time to rest for a 60 minute U20 game.. fairly sure I had this exact same argument before the U20 connacht final last year and Roscommon were much improved despite having played the semi final. I have named 6 forwards all bar McHale are established senior championship forwards and I could name a few more. Mayo aren't relying on teenagers to start a championship game against Roscommon. Yes they are free to play but in the background I expect there was a conversation between Moran and Higgins and an agreement made that neither boys will play unless needed. We need to improve our efficiency in front of goal. This is a good Roscommon U20 team but they've been wasteful in their games so far. It's not a question of relying on teenagers, but if they're clearly good enough to start it is disrespectful not to play them in a championship game. Tommy Conroy has barely played in the last 18 months and looked very rusty anytime he has.
