Why is there still no decision on when the D1 Minor Final is going to be on, very unfair on the 2 sets of players. More than 2 weeks since the semi final and still no decision. Are they planning to play it as a double header with the senior final? imformed (Roscommon) - Posts: 208 - 10/10/2025 16:39:44 2639264 Link 0 |

Best wishes to Ciaran Murtagh on his retirement from inter county football. Gave great commitment to Roscommon over many years and was one of our best players. letsgetgoing (Roscommon) - Posts: 808 - 10/10/2025 17:54:34 2639277 Link 0 |

Best of luck to Ciarain Murtagh on his retirement. A truly dedicated and outstanding servant for the county. As previously mentioned there will probably be a shake up of the team next year with fresh faces and legs introduced. Here's hoping the new manager and his selectors can pull them all together and give us some more enjoyable days.

Was to be on this weekend but a clashed with the U20 championship. Looking into the possibility of that though in recent years Enfield was the chosen venue for the U18 D1 final.

Such a talent and a great servant. Will always remember that great 2017 Connacht title on a vintage soft Salthill Hill day.

Best of luck to Eire Og in the Intermediate final next Sunday. Hope they do it this time. The west of the county needs a boost to give the youngsters something to aspire to. Strokestown will be favourites but here's hoping for the best. Rossieforever (Roscommon) - Posts: 109 - 14/10/2025 13:56:56 2639946 Link 0 |
I think Strokestown will prove a step too far for Eire Og. Promises to be close but I think the black and amber by 2. Strokestown better equipped for the rigours of Senior too going forward. Is Sean Mullally back playing?

I think Eire Og have a real chance and id probably put my money on them to get over the line. If they can get Cox into the game and his shooting boots are on I really think they will have enough. Any reason why it's in kiltoom? On the senior management team has anyone heard if we have a backroom team yet or when will we hear from Mark Dowd. dave1988 (Roscommon) - Posts: 1318 - 16/10/2025 14:59:22 2640310 Link 0 |
Any truth that they are waiting on 1 if not 2 coaches involved with Pearses and Brigids to finish before announcing ?

On the other hand, if Strokestown shut down Cox, have Eire Og enough to win it without him kicking the 10 points? I don't think they do. I think Strokestown will win by 4. In the junior, Croans should take care of business. Croans by 7

I don't know and that could be true. I live and I'm involved in a club I Dublin and I know the dubs are back on a strength and conditioning program within a couple of weeks of the new manager being announced. Lads that are on the fringes know what they are doing. Are we doing the same
