Great to see all the lads back in the match day squad.

A fully fit Galway is a match for anyone.

Notable absentees Jack Glynn, Matthew Tierney and Matthew Thompson. Hopefully nothing serious with them.

He did a quad in the last league game versus Dublin.

Is Kickitout the Galway physio??
Looked like a few wildcard choices in his team earlier but he's bang on.

So much for podcasts and certain journalists that said Comer wouldn't play in this year's championship

Rumours that Thompson has an injury that means he could miss the entire championship. No idea if it's true but heard it from two seperate people. Pinch of salt though until confirmed or not.

You would have to be disappointed with the output of the three lads in with the seniors.

Ross Coen is the best player on that team."
100% agree on Coen.
For a crucial period in the second half when they were on top we couldnt get posession for about 10 minutes.
They were just winning our kick out and working a shot, kick out and then they win the ball again.

Great to see Comer and Walsh back on the match day panel, as well as John Daly, McDaid and O Laoi back starting after their stunted league availability. Time to start get some momentum rolling for the championship ahead!"
what is Matt Tierneys injury

Could do with some injury updates on Glynn, Tierney and Thompson. Great to see Daly back, and Walsh/Comer in the mix.

Good to have some big hitters back, hopefully nothing too serious for Tierney. Need him fit and firing for AI series.

Is Thompson not in the States? Back for the All-Ireland series? I did hear he had picked up an injury and could be out for Galway. Tierney has not recovered from the injury against Dublin I understand.

A lot of noise out there surrounding injuries and players' availability but no official confirmation.

Thought Thompson wasn't due to be back in the country until just before the Connacht Final anyways?

As for Comer everyone heard the rumours he was gone for the year and was repeated by various people in the media too.

So Tierney has a muscle injury, never seen a team have so many muscle injuries.

Great to see Daly & O'Laoi back too, we all know Daly's qualities and the new rules will suit him. As for O'Laoi he had a couple of outstanding games in the league before his injury.

Would have liked to have seen Mulryan on the bench but suppose he's played a fair bit of football in recent weeks.

It looks a strange team and panel to me.
Daly hasnt been at 6 in a while and O'Conghaile is a good lad but not exactly in the Thompson or Tierney mould, i can see changes before throw in. On the other hand, thats an impactful bench at first glance, Kelly, O'Flaherty, Walsh, Comer to come on. This would have been a good game for Mulryan to get a few minutes. Are the O'Neills still on the panel, wasnt it Sam O'Neill who started last year in Derry.

Mulryan has done ok in fairness to him but he's also been too easy to dispossess. He's had loads of game time too so I think he's a risk, needs a winter of conditioning then he could be a more important player.

Mixed news on the injury front, can imagine Walsh,Comer will be very rusty and both will need 20 or 30 minutes in their legs before the Connnacht final.

Galway to win by 13 to 15 points I reckon tomorrow.
