Kerry Vs Tyrone

Fancy Tyrone here if they can field their squad.
Not sure about this Kerry team.

A lot of the hype is based around the Clifford brothers.

That's good news, hope Tyrone get as many fit to play as possible, they deserve their chance to play the semi final for sure. Mayo will be getting rusty with the waiting.

Good news that it's happening. Possibly bad news for Mayo who will now have a four week wait till the final, twice as long as their opponents.

Gives Mayo a chance to get injured players back in time.

Was never in any doubt about extra weeks extension, 24,000 x €50.

Good bit of pressure now on Kerry, expectation will be Sam from the supporters. Tyrone team badly affected by covid, Mayo perrenial failures and all that.
Tyrone will give this young Kerry team something they haven't faced so far this year. Burns return will make Tyrone very solid defensively and if they can hold their own in midfield for the 50/50 ball they have every chance of an upset.

We'll be fairly rusty against Tyrone as it'll have been 5 weeks between the munster final and allireland semifinal.

Really hard to know what impact the uncertainty will have on both squads, I hope the Tyrone boys benefit from the extra time and are able to get a fit and firing squad out there. If Kerry are as good as I think they are, they should still have enough to beat Tyrone but who knows when it comes to semi-final time. Very happy it's going ahead, I had just taken Tyrone's statement earlier about pulling out of next weekend as the final nail in the coffin but delighted it's going ahead.

Will the attendance get bumped up to 40,000 now?

True enough and your Munster campaign was even softer than Dublin's route through Leinster, Kerry would do well to forget about the hammering they gave Tyrone in the league, these boys can play ball when they are going well and McShane and McKenna haven't hit the form they are capable off yet either, if the Tyrone backs can hold the Cliffords and Sean O'Shea it could be tight enough.
Many people think Kerry will breeze through to the final as many thought Dublin would.

It's the right decision. If Croke Park had turned Tyrone down then Kerry or Mayo had come down with it there would have been a right commotion. Still think Kerry will have far too much firepower for Tyrone.

Don't think we'll be bringing the firing squad.

Kerry haven't been tested yet in 2021. Tyrone have been tested, they look like they're learning from their mistakes and are improving under new management. They'll be relishing this game. Kerry are rightfully favourites, I think they'll win but by 5 points or less. A team is only as good as they're allowed to be. The extra week will stand to Tyrone and do Kerry few favours.

Agreed. Any danger that more delays could occur?

Delighted this is now going ahead. I will be hoping for a Kerry win but the very best of luck to both teams on the day.

Kerry haven't had a decent game since the league.
They are well passed rusty. Sand blasting is needed

I'm no medical expert but I've a feeling the extra week will leave Tyrone fully ready fitness wise for this game as they should have time to recover and with self isolation timelines served will have some prep time before the game.
The reason I think this is I have not heard Premier League players who got Covid suffering from lingering effects of Covid.
The South African rugby team had a very similar outbreak of Covid recently and shortly afterwards were able to play and win a three game rugby series. It seems most healthy athletes need only a short recovery time from Covid.

Exactly it's all on the day, posters say I'm doing the yerrah when I say this game is very much 50/50 and I won't be shocked if we get bate by Tyrone.

I would never take a Tyrone team for granted on the back of league game and I'm sure PK and the team won't either, we'll be expecting the best out of Tyrone Covid or no Covid and hopefully we won't be too rusty after the 5 week lay off.

100%, it's not ideal.
